Response from CLASSIC AWNING & TENT CO
Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], I would like to offer my sincere apologies to your opinion and perception of the failings of my company and it's service to you. Perhaps providing some historical background might help to clear things up a bit. 32 years ago when I began Classic Awnings, the majority of our customers preferred their awnings up between May 15th to Memorial Day. During those times, weather is rarely a factor when considering high winds, cold temperatures and daily threats of snow. 32 years later, in an attempt to extend our wonderful summers, the majority of our 1600 customers now desire their awnings to be installed during the month of April. Unfortunately during this time period, weather is ALWAYS a factor. If you think about it as of today April 18, we have had no more than 5 decent days of working weather and up until a week ago, the threat of snow was still a major factor. As for your history, Your awning has gone up the following dates since 2007. 4/25/07,4/29/08,4/21/09,4/22/10,5/4/11,4/25/12,4/22/13,4/17/[Member Information Removed],4/29/15,4/28/16...and I pledge to you that it will go up today 4/18/17. I say all this to you because I take this business, and our service to our great and loyal customers very seriously. Trust me when I tell you that we work very hard to hold up our end of the bargain in not only getting our awnings up each season but doing so as professionally as possible. Your opinion, as well as the opinion of all of our customers is very important to us. We are forced to give answers of prediction to our customers on a daily basis and many times we come up short in correctly predicting exact install times, for that I again apologize. We will continue to work to improve our service as well as our communication, and appreciate feedback such as this to aid us in that end. I am thankful that you have been a great customer with us since 1992 and I sincerely hope to keep you. If you choose not to continue to use our services in the future, I wish you nothing but goodwill and success in finding someone to fulfill your awning needs. Sincerely, David Vesneske Owner Classic Awnings
