Description of Work: 2 very large and one average sized double hung windows were replaced with vinyl triple insulated glass windows. They are beautiful and energy efficient and almost soundproof.

Description of Work: I sincerely hope that the quality of the product is better than the installation team. We paid a great deal of money and the workmanship is deplorable. The front door closes on its own but when we complained, we were told that was due to the pitch - whatever that is. We had 2 previous doors that did not close on their own. The door stop was not replaced until we practically forced them - it is a heavy door and I didn't feel I had the strength to remove the door and put this on the hinge. The caulking on the sliding glass is totally unacceptable - wavy and uneven in some places, thin in others - and it stops just before the eave leaving just enough room for a family of bees or spiders. The screen does not meet the stopper plate. The company has said it would send a production manager to check it out, but even if the problems are solved, and they'd better be for this amount of money, I would never recommend this company.

Description of Work: They replaced the patio door, They arrived on time and performed job in 2 hours removing old patio door and installed new patio door. The door operation is excellent.

Description of Work: Replaced 12 windows with vinyl double pane awning type. Quality seems good, price high. Glass area is smaller than what was replaced but acceptable. I should have researched pricing from other contractors first because they offered a "today only" price (which we accepted). We were able to pay cash so the ultimate price was less than if we had financed through them. The crew worked in a professional manner and did a good job overall.

Description of Work: Quote on replacing sliding glass door. I'm replacing this door because it leaks and I have some water damage associated with that leakage. Like every vendor I've talked with, they try to stay clear of directly addressing the issue of how the water damage will be handled and its costs. They only seem interested in just replacing the door and not addressing the whole problem. Will continue to look at other vendors until I can find one who addresses the whole problem.

Description of Work: I originally called Braymiller for an estimate on a bathroom tub/wall liner, but I also asked for an estimate on installing windows. While I passed on the liner estimate, I decided to go with them on installing 4 triple–pane windows, 2 security windows for the downstairs windows that I was replacing, and 2 normal windows for the upstairs. Their price was pretty high, as it was with the liner estimate, but I knew I would be getting a $1000 back from my federal taxes that year due to replacing my VERY leaky (air, not rain) windows with these new ones. I hadn't really gotten any other estimates on windows (my bad), so I guess I might have paid a bit too much even after the tax rebate, but it was October and if I wanted any tax rebate on windows, I needed to get it done before the end of the year. The installation was very quick, and they cleaned up quite well after themselves. I may have overpaid, but these windows are very nice and have definately made a difference to the warmth of my house. Even though I only replaced 4 windows, I chose my 4 leakiest ones. While in this review I state that I wouldn't hire Braymiller again, it's only due to their high cost, not the quality of their windows, nor the instalation, which as I said, was very quick and good.

Description of Work: Big dog and pony show. 45 minutes in, he still was going thru his book. Was told he had 5 minutes to finish. Objected that this was a 90 minute presentation. Told him to wrap it up now as we had other things to do. He got huffy and left. Poor. Very poor. Noone else took that long!
