Apollo Drywall & Painting

First off we had used this provider before and were very pleased with Matt who did work for us in the past. Unfortunately Matt was not who they sent to do the work this time. The gentleman and young lady they sent to do the work this time hung the ceiling on the landing uneven. They didn't shim the ceiling over the stars either so it drooped in the center. This was all visible to the naked eye. They applied skim coat to the walls and did a poor job sanding, the walls remain pretty rough. The man who did the work suggested I use a flat paint to hide the imperfections. They did come back and apply compound to even off the unlevelness of the ceilings. The owner was very nice and came to the house to see what I was unhappy with and to make amends. I would use them again but only if Matt was going to do the work

The negative: I did wait a long time for the work to be started. I kept receiving start dates and I would follow up with Apollo and the dates would move out 2 weeks at a time. I always wondered if I did not call to follow up if I ever would have received a phone call. They really need better communication and follow up. The positive: Everything else. The workers were clean, on time, courteous. The job was ever changing due to my wants but Brian was very accommodating to add scope to the job. Never was my house left a mess nor the work rushed. Brian works at your home like he would work on his home. The owner who I never met, was very accommodating to help with insurance paperwork which was very time consuming. If you have the luxury to wait for a job this company and crew is worth the wait.

Please see above information. The team at Apollo were prompt in keeping appointments and communicating dates and times to me as the jobs progressed. I am extremely pleased with the work provided by Apollo DryWall and Painting.

took weeks to get someone to do an estimate and its now almost a month and I still don't have one..

Called provider in March for estimate on repair of crack in ceiling drywall. Set an appt. date with them for April 9. The day before they were to come out they called at 5pm to cancel, stating "we are so busy with all the damage from the winter and you live to far away we are cancelling for tomorrow." I asked if they could come a different day and she said "no"..How unprofessional, especially to cancel with that excuse after we had taken the day off from work.

Fixed a large hole in our dining room ceiling due to water damage. Also fixed 2 plaster walls cracked due to same water damage. Excellent job on both,restored my textured ceiling to original look, completely undetectable. Same with the sponge-painting of the entire room,excellent. Room has been restored to like new condition, will use this company again fort any future work needed.

The Epoxy floor is great. It is waterproof, durable, and has just enough traction to be slip resistant. We picked a custom color blend, so my floor is unique and even has my logo in it! This is actually my third room I have had them do. One room is almost 3 years old and still looks awesome. The interior paint job went well too. I had a tight deadline for that project and they had the man power and equipment to finish it quickly and professionally. Thanks Matt! All the painters that worked on both projects were professional, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. I am so happy I am now getting a quote to paint the exterior!

I heard about them by word of mouth. They were reliable.

I think that there was a little misrepresentation on his part. I was satisfied with part of the job, but he had said that he was going to use a special paint in my bathroom and put on two coats, but the paint started coming off after two weeks. I had asked for another part to be sanded, and it was not, and the wall is all crinkling and you can see wrinkles under the paint. My real estate person had come in and he told me that they hadn't scraped the paint off the tile in the bathroom. I want to call them and ask what they are going to do about it because I paid them what they wanted, and it was a fair amount, but they didn't really give me what I wanted. He did call me back, but I was not well and I didn't call him because of my situation. I might use him again if he comes and rectifies the mistakes.

We were really impressed. They did a really good job on the drywall. We had a little bit of molding in one corner, so we had drywall taken out and replaced. Their painting job was good and they gave us the color that we wanted, but we had specified certain paint and they gave us a stupid grade of that. I wouldn't use them again. We wanted something and had paid for it but they didn't give it to us. I think that their price was awfully high. They were not responsive with the paint job. I would go out and look for other quotes first.
