Buddy's Tree Service

We have had Buddy’s remove trees a couple of times now. They do an amazing job; when they leave there is nothing to say they’ve been here except the trees that have been removed. They are professional, friendly, and their prices are good!

They bring a crew to the job site and work together like a well-oiled machine. They are efficient and work non-stop, only breaking for lunch. We cannot stress enough how pleased we are with Buddy's. Right from the start, they were quick to respond to our call for an estimate. They gave us a realistic and general idea as to when they would be able to complete this job. They arrived before 7 AM on the day of the job, and all I can say is that I haven't seen a work ethic like this one in ages!!! They were like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knew their job and did it flawlessly from cutting the trees down, to sawing them up, to carefully using the bucket truck RIGHT NEXT TO OUR DECK AND GARAGE, to climbing the trees to top them, to grinding the stumps out, to cleaning up the brush and sawdust, to loading the trees on their truck, to raking our lawn and even our woods! In one morning they had completed a job that I thought might take days. Need I say more??? We would hire them again in an instant and would encourage you to look no further than Buddy's for your tree service needs. They are friendly, professional, careful and experts in their field. Hire them! You will not be sorry!

'Buddy'came for and estimate on 6/24 and said he could do the job in a week to 10 days. He returned 2 days later. Job was done in 15 minutes. Straightforward transaction no issues. Will contact again in the future if need to.

Derek and his crew came out in about a week as promised. They worked quickly and efficiently. Everything was done as requested. Branches and scraps were removed and chipped. Cleanup was complete, with very little sign that anything was done except for the missing trees. They were very professional and willing to meet all of my requests.

When we hired Buddy we were told that it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to us because he had to finish work related to recent storm damage. About 2 weeks later Buddy showed up with numerous trucks and equipment. The large tree was only about 6 feet from the house and some of the upper branches were touching the siding. Our concern was that any mistake taking the tree down could cause significant damage to the house. Because of the location of the tree, there was no access for larger equipment. The tree had to be taken down one branch at a time using one person with a chain saw. His team worked quickly and in less than 2 hours the trees were trimmed and the large tree and stump were removed. Small branches were ground-up, the tree trunk and large branches were loaded on a truck and all the leaves/branches were raked up and removed. His team took care not to damage any of the lawn furniture or plants in the areas affected. We would not hesitate to hire Buddy and his team of professionals again.

Buddy's Tree Service showed up early with numerous large pieces of equipment and a crew of about 7. They cut the trees down and removed the stumps in about 4 hours. They respected my property and cleaned up everything including sawdust. They also spread some grass seed on bare spots. They were excellent.

I was astounded at the amount of work they did, the excellent clean-up and the overall care. I had a mess from fallen branches from the long winter. Another mess from someone who had cut down trees but never came back to clean-up and a very large pine that was leaning towards the house that could have been a potential problem. I had called Buddy's to clean up the fallen branches, the leftover mess and trim several trees back. He noted the leaning pine and I wasn't sure the pine could be cut down as would be difficult to get equipment in that part of the yard, but he said he could get it down. When I got home and saw the amount of work they had done including stump grinding, the clean-up, the number of trees trimmed back etc I was amazed. When Buddy told me he understood what I needed, he absolutely did and more so. I wish I had taken a before and after picture as no one would have believed the mess I had if they look at my yard now. I feel as if I have a whole new yard. I will not have to worry about falling branches or trees for years to come. I was not home when they came but my neighbors commented on how hard they worked. Buddy's was recommended to me by several people and I am so glad I went with their recommendations. Buddy's was obviosly very knowledgeable in their profession, did excellent work and the prices were reasonable. I am so happy I used them.

Buddy came in person, provided a quote and arrived early the next week..tree cut down, yard cleaned up..all in about 30 minutes! Great job

I saw the ad for "seasoned" firewood in the Post-Star and the price was reasonable so I bought two full cords of wood. Again, the ad said the wood was seasoned but when I got the firewood, it was not seasoned at all or even semi-seasoned. I bought green firewood a few weeks ago from another provider and that wood burns just as good. Also, the ad said it was "mixed" seasoned firewood but 99% of the wood was oak, which takes a very long time to season. I was very disappointed with the wood. On the plus side, I do believe it was 2 full cords of wood and not 1.5 cords, as some people will try to cheat you on the amount. I would have been happy if the wood was at least semi-seasoned.

Great service--easy to contact, came same day to provide an estimate and a contract, and performed the service the next day as scheduled. Very efficient crew and thorough clean up.

Buddy's Tree service was great. Buddy came out and gave us an estimate and we signed a contract that day. He said they would be out in the next 2-3 weeks to complete the work and we did not have to be home. About three weeks later we returned from doing some errands and noticed the tree was gone. They did an excellent job! You would have never known a tree had been there. They also did a great job trimming the other trees and removing the stumps. They cleaned up all the branches, sawdust ext. so well that you honestly could not tell they had ever been there.

Fast. They were done in less than an hour. Left the yard clean. Even filled in the hole.

Perfectly, It only took 3 hours. They were well equipped and worked very hard and professionally. They really know what they are doing. They provided the maximum value that could be delivered. They cleaned up the yard, the road, my driveway, and my neighbors driveway. They even took away some other branches that came down in the yard. Buddy is the best!

They were on time for the estimate and were back in the time frame they gave me for doing the work. Came with a large crew and adequate equipment , Took the tree down, cleaned up, did some extraneous things I requested and were finished in less than eight hours.

They have a good review on Angie's List. They gave me a date after three weeks. Two weeks later, I was getting worried and exactly three weeks later, they actually called & said they would be here in two days. They were here and finished the job by an hour. I couldn't make out if they did the work as it was so clean. They did a great job. They were right here on time. The whole crew was here. Buddy is the son, but I didn't see his father. His wife and he came right away to access the situation. They came on a Saturday. They gave me the best estimate. They were good. It was above the estimate I got from the other two companies. The work was thorough. There was no mess.
