drain pipe
+ -1 moreThe men were skilled and relocated the curb box so the plows and pavers would not destroy it. They were polite and professional and took care of the home repair quickly and kept me informed as they went along. When National Grid came to check how the project was going, the rep told me that he had worked with them in the past and they were skilled professionals at what they did. I was very pleased with the job and how I was kept in the loop as they repaired the water and sewer lines.
Description of Work: Replaced a curb box, main line and sewer line.

Description of Work: This company excavated and replaced a blocked drain pipe from the house to the run-off sewer. The quality of the replaced line is probably fine--won't really know until more time passes--but the communications with the company rep were difficult, requiring repeated requests for information, phone calls not returned, etc. Also, the grass that they replanted did not grow at all. In the spring, I had to hire a landscaper to bring in a lot of fill and replant. They should have brought in new soil when they put in the new pipe, I realized in retrospect. I could have called them to return and correct the problem, but I found them so difficult to deal with I preferred to hire a new company.

+ 1 moreI had them remove a tree and concrete patio. They replaced the sewer line for me. They came out the same day I called them and gave me an estimate. The started the job the next day. They did everything they promised to and finished the job in one day. they sent out four workers and they even visited with my neighbors before cutting down the tree to insure no cars would be damaged. They were very punctual and professional.
Description of Work: I had my sewer line dug up and replaced.
