We were incredibly satisfied with Henry and his team. From our first conversation to the end of the tree service, Henry was extremely professional and informative. He suggested which trees we should trim and which we should cut down, and had knowledge to share every step of the way. The work was done on time and very cleanly and carefully. We would definitely recommend Henry Montgomery to anyone considering tree service.

The initial contact was on Oct 22nd,2014. Mr.Montgomery called me on Oct 27th to say that he could do the job sooner than originally planned. On Wednesday Oct 29th. he arrived punctually at 8:30A.M. He was accompanied by his Four Man Crew. who were the operator of a large 130 ft. Crane, the tree climbing Sawer,and two young men who constantly fed branches into a shredder. Henry himself orchestrated the whole operation while wielding a smaller saw for trimming large branches for the shredder. His equipment included the shredder attached to a truck,and a large truck for the removal of tree trunks and debris.They worked non stop as a precision team all of whom appeared to work smoothly and harmoniously. By 4:30P.M. all the trees had been removed and the area had been raked clean. Henry returned to complete the job on another day. This time he was accompanied by just the two men who had been doing the shredding. He spent several hours thoroughly grinding the stumps removing the chips and filling the holes with high grade topsoil. He then seeded the areas and covered them with straw. For an encore he ground up a couple of stumps that had been there some years and he did not charge extra for this. Then the three of them thoroughly raked and cleaned up the whole area leaving it looking better than before the job was begun. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to deal with Henry Montgomery. If stars were given for a job well done then Henry Montgomery Tree Service would get 5 out of 5. It is my pleasure to recommend this company to any potential customer ,without any reservation whatsoever . First review I have written. First, Henry's price blew away the other 2 estimates I had got. Henry was there on the job with 3 young men and they worked their tails off for over 2 hours. I couldn't be happier and will definitely know who to call when I need tree service again. Henry said he prices to be fair. I can second that!

Henry came out promptly and gave us an estimate.His wasn't the highest or the lowest estimate, but seemed a fair price for the work to be done. He and his crew came out and did an excellent job on the trees,even though it was winter and there was snow on the ground. He came back after the spring thaw and cleaned up all of the debris that he couldn't do in mid-winter. All-in-all he did an excellent job. I would definitely hire him again.

Out of the three quotes, Henry's was the most complete. He explained everything that should be done and even noted a possible Ash Bore infection (which turned out to be legit when he had it checked out) in one of the trees I wanted to take down. The other two didn't mention that at all. Henry called on a Sunday night and asked if he could come the next day and that was great. He was here with his crew early and my nosy neighbors said he was only there a few hours. The cleanup was great. The yard looked better than before the work was done. He even came by the next day to reseed the two areas where he ground the stumps. Great experience from start to finish!

Henery is an amazing person! Very down to earth. He was very quick with a call back and on time with appt to do est. His estimate beat out two others names not mentioned but big companies in Albany. His work was completed in a timely manor. All work was completed just as he stated. Well worth the money! A++++

We especially appreciated the time that Henry took to review our property with us. Very clean work. Henry appeared with a crew and equipment. He was on site for all of cutting, he was gone momentarily during part of debris cleanup. Punctuality was within limits of what we believe is acceptable. We had the work done during the summer storms and he needed to delay the start to attend to a tree downed overnight. This had been discussed as a possibility ahead of time. We believe it is civil and neighborly to delay optional work for emergency work. We had to take down a beloved ornamental tree that was too close to the house. Henry's discussion of options helped us make a difficult choice and we are pleased with the result even if we miss the tree. I do not care to post what it cost.

Henry and his crew did an outstanding job. They are no nonsense, hard working men. There were no coffee breaks or resting on this job. They worked very hard, but always safely.

He came in, he did the job I asked him to do, and completed the job. He removed the stump. He cleaned up afterwards. The workers that came out with him were good.
