 + -1 moreWe called Matt Smith about a few different issues in our home. He was most interested in building a sun room for us out of a porch that was attached to the house. Matt Smith was amazing from the beginning of the job to the finish. He is professional and personable and understood exactly what we wanted in a sun room. The materials used were of good quality and he did the job in 6 days. We would use him again for any kind of job, he is skilled and competent.
Description of Work: Matt Smith built us a sun room out of an attached screened porch. We worked together to create a design for the room. He planned to do the job in two weeks from start to finish and followed this schedule exactly. He started by tearing down the existing porch. He brought in a dry wall expert and a few assistants who took his directions well. Matt installed a hardwood floor and picked out siding to match what was there before. He put in 6 windows and a glass door. He insulate the room well. He did a meticulous job.

 + 3 moreHis work and price was excellent. He was prompt and efficient. I had a garden statue that was already broken before the roof work, one day it came up missing and then it reappeared fixed. I thought that was so great. I have called him several times for work and I wouldn't use anyone else. He is highly professional and does beautiful work. I found him to be very economical for the quaity of the work. You really don't mind paying a little extra when they produce such great qualilty work. He and his staff are all great. I've also hired him to do work for my daughter, too. I would hire him again immediately if the need arose.
Description of Work: Matt Smith Building & Remodeling did my roof and built my wrap around porch. He has been in business for 25 years. He also put a built in cellar door with a step and base.
