We ripped out wallpaper in our living room and kitchen and patched and primed the walls beneath. I solicited 4 painting estimates with some spot skim coating/repairs. A1 was clearly the most expensive. I really appreciated the effort of Micheal coming out to do the estimate, but he did not clearly communicate how cost was derived and how long the job would take. He used the quote "You are paying for my expertise, not time", and verbally stated his estimate. When I politely indicated that the $2500-$3000 price tag was out of our budget, he suggested I ask my parents for the money. I am a 32 year old man. The three other contractors ranged from $1200-$1800 for the same job. Unlike A1, they provided me with written estimates, and clearly detailed itemized costs for patching, priming, painting and supplies on the estimate. I honestly share this estimate not to tarnish A1's reputation, but to help others.

Michael was prompt, courteous and professional. This was only a small job that he had to squeeze into his schedule since he was very busy. Since we waited for a time convenient to him he charged us less than quoted, which was a very nice surprise! His work was excellent. Can't even tell where the ceiling was repaired. Will definitely use him for any future work needed.

Fast, friendly, very professional and clean. Would definitely reuse in the future. Mike and his staff were very responsible and accommodating to us. They even changed around their schedule to accommodate us faster that originally expected. Work completed in a timely manner and as promised.
