I contacted 212carpet.com to schedule an appointment for new carpet installation. We recently purchased a new home and were interested in carpeting several rooms. In addition, we had not moved in yet as we were looking to get some of the remodeling work completed before move-in. We scheduled an appointment in February and we drove out to the house the morning of the appointment, ensuring to get there early just in case they arrived early. 212carpet.com did _not_ call us in advance of the scheduled appointment, including the morning of the appointment. more importantly, they didn't show up for the appointment. i called after my wife, 6-month old, and I had waited at the house for a 1/2 hour. An hour after the appointment time I was called and told that they estimator was running late and could be there in another 2 to 2 1/2 hours! We weren't going to wait that long, in a house without heat or hot water yet, particularly with the baby. We called again to reschedule for the following Saturday (in took a couple of attempts to get someone). We were assured someone would come (they were going to send "someone especially for our appointment"). The next Saturday came and we again drove out to the house early with the baby, again no call to confirm, again no one showed up. We called to after waiting another 1/2 hour or so and never heard a response. Save your time, 212carpet.com is a company you can skip calling.
