A BEST ROOFING & SIDING

As with most roofing jobs on old houses, this started out simple and got complicated as water damage was uncovered. The crew showed us everytime something was discovered and did what they could to lessen the pain...but it had to be done and they did an excellent job! Our only issue was a slight problem with communication on timing. As with most outside jobs in Buffalo, there is a very small window to get projects done and we had a bunch of rain during our roofing/railing time. We seemed to get dropped...but I truly believe it was a bad mix of moving offices and crew getting sick...Erica, the office manager, was a pure delight to talk to and did her best to get everything straightened out. Everything worked out wonderful and we would recommend them highly!

For both jobs, Ed came out to our home on time for the estimates. Dealing with management and calls made to the office were good experiences. I had no issues with return calls if I left a message at the office. The 1st crew on the home was timely and absolutely the BEST at getting the job done! CJ ran the crew and a 2 day job was started on time as promised and completed in 1 day. He ran a great job site and between dealing with Ed and CJ, I had no doubts with hiring them again for the small job of roofing the garage, however the timing on the garage wasn't as prompt. I was told a 3 man crew would complete the 1 day job in 1 week out from the signed contract date, however it was 3 weeks out and 2 men showed up late morning on day 1 to start. The 1 day job turned into 2 days because they started late and ended early both days. And day 3 was me trying to meet up with them to make payment. The invoice left in my mailbox was also incorrect but a quick call with Ed smoothed that out. The delays on the 2nd job and how often I had to keep taking time off of work or leaving early to try to meet up with them only to have them gone when I got home left a bad impression with me, but stepping aside and looking at my history with the company and also the completed work - I have to say that the work and finished product with the good crew and slow crew both resulted in beautiful roofs. Clean up on both jobs was perfect. I will not let the experience dealing with 2 men that do not know how to stick to a schedule impact my review of how good ABest's work is and how nice of an experience I had dealing with Ed and CJ. I would still call them for future jobs.

roofing was done satisfactory but i had to call them back to redo the valley properly, which they did . they left the cinder block of the chimney exposed about 15 inches between the top of the chimney flashing and where the brick starts. i met with their rep shortly after the work was done, and was told all they could do was spray paint the cinder block to match the color of the flashing. after the paint wore off i met with the rep again who said he would get back to me in a few days. after repeated phone calls to them , no one has contacted me to resolve this issue. ive waited long enough. finally after many months and phone calls, they came back and completed he job satisfactorily .

They don't mind coming over and selling and installing a new roof for $8000 but good luck getting there to fix a problem.
