Anchor Asphalt & Paving

Our driveway is on a bit of a hill and it was old, with lots of cracks and divots. I called Anchor Paving and Vinny came out the next day. We talked about options, which I already knew was to rip and replace. We set a day, and they arrived to rip the old driveway, grade it, add the item 4 and had it done very quickly. Then they came out almost a week later and did the paving. On the new section of the driveway, they added an extra 2 inches of asphault to make sure it was level with the existing driveway. Now the driveway looks fantastic. Anchor / Vinny was always professional and did a superb job. I highly recommend them if you need your driveway done.

Contacted Ralph Stanley, for an estimate, he was very professional and knows his business. explained everything he would do step by step, came over with his son and crew he staid the whole time making sure the job was done to my satisfaction he is honest he seems to give a d*** about the consumer not just looking to make money. I highley recomend Anchor paving to any one who is looknig for this service...

I called Vinny to schedule the sealing of the driveway they installed last fall. My call was returned quickly and an appointment date and time was set up for a few days later. They arrived on time and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. They were courteous and very professional. There price is a bit higher than some other companies but their work is worth it. I have dealt with cheaper copanies in the past and was not satisfied at all. My driveway looks great. I would definitely do business with Anchor Asphalt Paving again!

They did very well. The owner replied to all my calls and questions. They were very professional and stayed to their time schedule. Very happy and would refer them to anyone else.

Mr. Ralph Stanley gave us an estimate and performed accordingly. He arrived promptly and did a good job in my driveway and two of my neighbours' driveway. He gave me a 10% discount, more than the 5% coupon because of my neighbours using his service on the same date he did my driveway.

Mr. Stanley was very easy to work with. He was true to his word, arrived promptly and answered all our questions. When it came time for him to do the work he and his crew showed up when he said he would, and finished the job in the time frame we were told. When the job was done there was no mess anywhere. We are very pleased with the finished job and would definitely use Mr. Stanley again in the future.

We have 6 rentals at the end of a 660 ft. winding and broken drive. We reviewed many contractors and spoke to the four we thought were best. Anchors low key no BS interview was impressive. They were professional, readily gave referrences and even supplied the references' phone numbers to followup. They were the choice hands down with fair pricing and professionalism. They did the job in one day with very little inconvenience to our tenants. They did extra work to make sure the drainage was right and cleaned up afterwards. I can see why they have only positive reviews, in an category that often difficult to satisfy everyone. I would use their services again and recommend them to anyone looking for great service. I called Anchor Paving on 9/4 to get an estimate on either repairing or replacing the existing driveway. Vinny Stanley (the owner's son) came out later that same day and gave me an estimate. Vinny was very courteous and professional. We discussed the condition of the existing driveway and what my options were in regards to fixing it or repairing it. After reviewing the different options, we both agreed that the best option was to remove the existing driveway and repave a new one. I told Vinny that I wanted to get the driveway done as soon as possible, preferably this week as I was already home on vacation. Vinny agreed that they would be able to come Friday 9/6 between 7:45am - 8am if that worked for me - which it did. On 9/6, Vinny and his crew showed up at exactly 7:45am and got right to work. The crew was very professional and completed the job exactly as we had agreed. They cleaned up the work site as if they were never even there. Ralph Stanley, the owner of Anchor Paving, also came to supervise and review the work to make sure it was completed to my satisfaction. I found both Ralph and Vinny a real pleasure to deal with. They are very professional and courteous and do quality work. They are also very accomodating and really aim to please. They may not be the cheapest paving company out there, but I think you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I had contacted Ralph Stanley of Anchor Paving to give an estimate for replacing our 29 year old driveway. Mr. Stanley arrived promptly the next day. He explained thoroughly what needed to be done and advised that the old driveway would have to be removed. At the time, we were having a new retaining wall and walkway constructed and we had many questions. He answered all our questions and returned when the retaining wall was completed to check the pitch. I did request estimates from two other companies but chose to go with Ralph Stanley. His pricing was fair and he is a very pleasant man to work with. Mr. Stanley, his son and his crew arrived promptly on July 16th. They got to work immediately and worked together as a well organized crew. Mr. Stanley remained for the entire day and when he wasn't overseeing the work of his crew he was working just as hard alongside them. He is a perfectionist and it definitely shows in the quality of his work. We were very pleased with the entire job. I would highly recommend Anchor Paving and Ralph Stanley to anyone seeking such services.

In a nut shell, all went pretty well. there was a "low spot" which collected rain water. After contacting them regarding it, they corrected the problem in a couple of days after analizing the situation at no charge.

OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE! I contacted Anchor Asphalt and Paving on 7/16/2013 for an estimate. Vincent (Vinny) Stanley came out that night, gave an estimate, and explained what the best options would be to repair and sealcoat our driveway. He made a great first impression! He even agreed to come by before sealcoating our driveway to fill in a small asphalt defect at the base of our driveway FOR FREE! After trying to get other job estimates, we decided to go with Vinny based on our first interaction with him. He responded to my call that night and came out the following Sat. morning to fill in the asphalt defect. He would have done the whole job that Sat. if it hadn't been for the rainy forecast. He and his crew did come out the following morning. They worked efficiently as a team and got the job done in less than 3 hours! (Our driveway is more than 400 feet long). We were impressed with Vinny and his team and would certainly use them again.

We contacted Ralph Stanley based upon reviews on Angie's List. He provided an all inclusive quote and reviewed how the job would be performed. on the day we scheduled to begin, he and his team arrived on time and were efficient in preparing the driveway and installing the drains. (our driveway slants downhill to our house) The next day they arrived early and began laying the ashpalt. His crew works extremely cohesively and the job was completed by noon. They kept our yard neat and respected our neighbor's surrounding property. I wish I could post a before and after picture.

Amazing Amazing Amazing, this man has a heart of gold and the services he, his son and team performed were way beyond what I expected. His pricing was the best, his responsiveness to ever questions was transparent, and he was true to his word. Ralph was asked if he could widen my driveway so I can fit a 3rd car for my son who will be driving in about 3 years. Ralph didn't just widen the driveway he also built a rock wall utilizing the rocks from my property that gave this new addition a real custom look, to say the least I was blown away. The old driveway was removed and replaced to perfection. Ralph has a HEART. Yes he is a business man however he is a Husband, Father and Grandfather first and the core values he has in running his business and understanding such a service could be costly to working families e gets it and is extremely fair in his pricing. This is a company I will refer to anyone looking for a new driveway, he is the most transparent man I have meet in a longtime and in just 2 days of working with him I would call him a friend today and not just the driveway guy. Ralph gave me a estimate on 5/8/2013, said he woud be hre at 8 AM the next morning, showed up on time very professional. My Driveway was completed by 11:15 AM Looks Beautiful !!! Quality Workmanship!!!

My call was returned promptly. Ralph, the owner came by to give estimate. They showed up when promised, finished quickly and did a nice job. They were not the cheapest but reasonable and I am happy with the result.

The crew arrived early and got right to work. A badly cracked section was removed and replaced with new asphalt. Then the entire driveway was sealed. They also made a few smaller repairs. Looks great and is holding up well so far.

Owner, Ralph Stanley, a delightful "old world" artisan, and his son, Vincent Stanley, were on the job at all times with 5 additional workers all of whom executed their work with enough hand tools and mechanical equipment to pave a highway. No fooling around here. When was the last time that you hired someone to do something that you couldn't do yourself at your house, and felt that you didn't get screwed? Like the feeling that you made the right choice? Hire Anchor.

Called on the 3rd of Sept. to get a quote. Left a message with the person who politely answered the phone. She advised to expect a call back. I was called that evening and quoted a price based on the stated size of the driveway and told the work could be accomplished this weekend at the latest. I agreed. I was called Thursday early evening and advised the work could be done on Friday at noon if that met with my schedule. A two man crew arrived at 11:00 AM, the supervisor was Ralph's son. Both men carefully cleaned and prepared the driveway. The margins and borders were hand rolled to prevent overspray. The complete job took about 90 minutes. Received a 5% discount as referenced on Anchor's listing on Angies List. Beautiful job, professional crew.

The job went off without a hitch. It was done in a day.

They did all the do's and had no don'ts. They were totally professional , courteous, on time, and did an excellent job.

Arrived on time. Very courteous. Job was well manned. Worked quickly and efficiently. No mess. Followed directions carefully. Done in about 6 hours. Did not like how they tried to sell the remaining portion of the asphalt load to my neighbors.

Work was performed professionally. My only reservation about the service is that one member of the crew approached my neighbor asking for $1,200 to do some patching of his driveway. Not aggressive or nasty, just an annoyance. My neighbor did not accept the offer to do the work and the crew member ended up patching other areas of the driveway for free.
