"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. We specialize in decks, framing, additions and poured concrete walls. We have over 10 years of experience with carpentry, framing, and concrete. I started off pouring concrete walls in Breckenridge CO to support my skiing habits in the winter. Concrete then turned into framing/carpentry building high end homes in the mountains. I since have moved back to the finger lakes region where now instead of supporting my ski habit, I am supporting my family.
