"We hired Al Longo of Deck Builders to build a deck that required a building permit along with periodic inspections by our Town Code Enforcement Officer. During the framing phase, the deck did not pass inspection. Al was provided with input to rectify the issues (lack of appropriate drainage, per Code). Not only did Al not acknowledge that there was a drainage issue, he also did not review any Town code requirements for drainage prior to starting construction. At this point, Al refused to continue to work with the Town to rectify the issues and/or come up with alternative solutions. He proceeded to treat all of us in a completely unacceptable and unprofessional manner (to put it mildly) and the agreement had to be terminated. He left us hanging by refusing to continue to work with the Town. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE DO ANY BUSINESS WHATSOEVER WITH AL LONGO AND DECK BUILDERS, ALSO KNOWN AS DECK KING."
