We had a nice man stop by for a/c. We said we would really like a split duct system but would consider central a/c. Price would be a big factor. He said he would run the figures and get back to us. We would have an estimate within 2-3 days. We waited a week. Nothing. So we called and he said he sent it but must have sent it to the wrong email address. OK. No big deal. So after almost 2 weeks we received the estimate but it was for central a/c on. We wanted the price for both so we could make a decision which would work for us. We made 3 phone calls over a 2- 3 week period to the office. Again, very nice lady and each time we called she promised us a call back in a day or two. No calls. We made a 4th call about a week after the 3rd call and the lady said maybe he would get back to us quicker if she had the dimensions of our rooms. (He had already measured so why wouldn't you have that already?) So we measured all the rooms and called her back to give her the dimensions. That was about 3 weeks ago and no one ever called. A total of almost 11 weeks has passed since our appointment and we don’t have the information we need to make a decision between the 2 systems. Also, when the man was here he said he would have Duell's plumber call us to come fix our well pump. Never heard from this person either. So bottom line it seems that this company has communication problems and/or lack of staff to provide the minimal level of service we would expect.

The home that my husband and I recently purchased needed some plumbing repairs and there were some items that were not up to code. Nathan was great. He was on-time and efficient. He explained all of his work to my husband and I. This is the second time we have used Duell Plumbing and we will continue to do so. Nathan is not pushy with his services and his prices are fair and reasonable. We will call him anytime we have plumbing needs in the house. For those individuals that have pets (we have 2 dogs), Nathan was wonderful and patient with our dogs when they wanted to and quot;investigate funny noisesand quot;.

I called to have an estimate done to have a water softener installed. They set up an appointment very quickly for an estimate. Tyler came and went over the job in detail, and explained to me in language that I could understand what the job entailed and what the cost would be. He installed the water softener, reworked the plumbing, correcting some errors that were made previously by other workers. He did it very quickly and explained everything to me again about how the appliance worked and what to expect going forward. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. I plan to call the company again in the spring .

They were very professional. Replaced a part and made recommendations for keeping it maintained. Will definitely use again.

Background: My (non-plumber) contractor had a licensed plumber pull a plumbing permit for him, but the permit ran out before all the work was completed. My contractor was not returning my calls in regards to renewing the permit/completing the work. I made an appointment with Rick to talk about an unfinished plumbing job at my house in Albany, NY. Rick called the day of the appointment to confirm and met me promptly at the agreed upon time. Rick reviewed the work and advised me that the best course of action was to contact the plumbing inspector to: review the existing work, and to get an idea of what would need to be fixed/changed. With this information, he could then better give me a quote on what it would cost/take to complete the job. He also mentioned that the plumber who pulled the permit would likely get into trouble because they shouldn't be pulling permits for other companies. I then called my contractor and let him know what might happen if a new plumber pulled a new permit and the old permit wasn't closed properly/inspected. My contractor agreed to meet me the next day to discuss the unfinished work. Rick's advice was very useful, and I'll definitely make him my first call if I need any future plumbing or heating work.

They were great! Very professional and punctual! Moved and colored coded the pipes. Cleaned up when they were done.

very quick and very good work. removed old sink and installed new sink with small amount of work to the counter top. removed all old parts and clean up very nice.

They were great. The price was very reasonable. They were just very professional. They came when they said they were going to come. They were very courteous and they were clean. The cleaned up after themselves. They just did a great job. I will absolutely continue to use them.

They diagnosed the problem well. We have a cast iron pipe which is very heavy. We have a house from 1800's and it was very reasonable. Well worth every penny!

I had air and water coming up in my toilet and sinks. Sump pump had to be unplugged due to a clog in the lines forcing water back up through the pipes. The plumber couldn't get the sewer line opened in the basement.. he then tried to snake the vent? He then told me that no one else had any other kind of equipment to fix the issue, and that my front yard would need to be dug up. He reassured me that the bill would be under 5000!!! He left me to go talk to their estimator.. and I have yet to hear back from them. In the meanwhile I called Rooter Wizard who fixed the issue in under 1/2 hour and under 300.00! My entire day was SHOT.. and to think that these guys would of had my entire front yard dug up! The other plumbers (C.B's) that came on site at same time as rooter wizard told me that these guys obviously didn't know what they were doing. Wow.. i'm speechless, and so thankful that the problem got resolved!!

I really like them. I thought their quality was terrific. I think they are honorable, thorough, and prompt even though they may not be the cheapest. I called and set up the appointment one week in advance. They were very flexible and agreeable. Nate, the owner, called me on the day of the appointment to see if they could arrive thirty minutes early and I agreed. I only expected to receive an estimate on the day of the appointment. However, they had all the parts on the work truck to complete the work today. I couldn't be more pleased with their service. I would recommend their services.

It was really expensive. The quote was double the cost of other companies. He was professional and knowledgeable when he provided the quote. They arrived within a half an hour when they said they would. However, we chose not to hire them because of the cost.

They did a great job! Very professional. Rick really listened to what I wanted and he delivered. He made excellent suggestions, too. Rick gave me an estimate, that he stuck to, for his work. We were in charge of ordering and paying separately for the big items like shower, tiles for walls and floors, glass and shower pan, toilet, sink, faucets, etceteras. So the price reported above is for Rick's work only -- not for materials (or for the electrician or glass installation). Your costs will depend on your taste and pocketbook and other choices you make. To be absolutely clear about everything I wanted, from the beginning, I created a loose leaf book that contained a floor plan and copies of everything I was ordering for the bathroom in terms of materials, instructions for the materials, and photographs of things I wanted done, like the wainscoting. I cleared everything with Rick before we signed the contract. The workers had the binder to refer to whenever they needed. I believe that this saved us from having any misunderstandings. I was very happy working with Rick as he has a great deal of experience and was willing to be collaborative. He is an expert tiler and, under his direction, his workers did an excellent job in the bathroom. In addition, the wainscoting in the bathroom and bedroom turned out beautifully! Everyone loves it and it suits our home perfectly. I didn't like how they originally had planned to finish the top of the wainscoting, and it's a great example of Rick's flexibility that he found a way to do it in a more aesthetically pleasing way. Rick and his workers not only did a great job, but they were a pleasure to deal with, as well. They were friendly and professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The work was done close to their time estimate... about 2 or 3 weeks over it, but that is to be expected when doing construction. Will I use Rick again? Absolutely!

I really admire them. I have used them for couple of years. I have multi dealt with Rick and once with Nathan and they are punctual and pretty fast to respond. Their price is reasonable. They explain everything but lots of people don't explain. They explain what they are doing, why this happened and they are very good at giving me options. I have been very happy with the price.

Our real estate agent recommended Duell Plumbing and Heating to us to replace the original boiler in our Van Patten house. We are selling the house and had received a couple of estimates that were really outrageous. After investigating different units we contemplated doing the work on our own but had given up on the notion since the old unit was working fine. (Up until last week. Of course!) Duell came out and gave us an appropriate price. We are of the opinion that the labor should be equal to the cost of the materials for most projects. They were able to do the work the next day and then billed us since we were out of town. We appreciated that more than anything. They were extremely professional, courteous and had great communication throughout. We would absolutely use them again.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THEY DO VERY GOOD QUALITY WORK. THEY CARE VERY MUCH ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS NEEDS. THEY HAVE A GREAT PRICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
