Top To Bottom Home Inspections

I contacted Igor the owner of Top to Bottom Home Inspection for a well and septic test for a home we were going to buy in Glen Spey NY. We were not from the area and the realtor wanted us to use her inspector. As a word of advice I was told to find some independent from the realtor. So I searched online for the inspectors in the Glen Spey area and talked to Igor on the phone. He was very informative on the area so I hired him. He made the whole process very easy and he explained everything in detail and explained things to us in layman's terms. Unfortunately the leach field failed and we backed out after much consideration and talking to Igor about the area and the soil types it just made sense. And he also gave us a heads up on underground oil tanks and the issues that can arise with them to which was a whole other issue with the property .. I would highly recommend him and use him again in the future... Thanks IGOR you were a great help!...

Igor is incredible, my wife and I are first time home buyers and Igor came recommended from both my realtor and my lawyer. I contacted him and left a message and my phone call, to my surprise, was returned that evening at 8pm with an apology for calling so late. I was impressed that he bothered to return the call at all that day. He took the time to walk me through everything that he was going to do over the phone as well as his price for everything, he was very thorough. The day of the inspection he was onsite before I was and we spent the next 4.5 hrs going over every square inch of the house. He made suggestions, took pictures and showed me how everything works. He was thorough, patient and extremely informative. I would recommend Igor to anyone, he not only has a background in home inspection and loves his work but he also has an extensive hands background in general construction and contracting which is something you will not find in most people that take a franchised correspondence course. Do yourself a favor and hire Igor and then follow, listen and take copious notes, but even if you do not, Igor will post the report on his site for you to review with ALL of his suggestions and pictures.

We were at the house a while because every little detail of the house was 'poked', 'prodded', and 'gone over with a fine tooth comb'. Had it not been for the thorough inspection we would have bought the house and been saddled with thousands of dollars in repairs it seemed like the sellers were trying to hide from us.
