 + 1 moreNone of the systems have ever worked for more than 4 days straight. Been fixed 7 times but they can't figure it out. I've offered to pay full price to redo the whole thing but they will not come for the past nine months. I also have a bad phone line to my pool house. They will not fix it because they say they are busy. It has been nine months. They also installed a secuirty system in my home. We had a fire and the system could not send a signal due to a failure. Telstar never warned me. They do not monitor your system. I called the emergency number during the fire and got an answering machine. Gerry is a nice guy but the operation is not real. The whole experience was awful
Description of Work: I had 4 cable tv lines, 4 CATv lines, and a cable tv splitter installed. as well as a new security system.

 + -1 moreTotal disaster. The service does not work. Strongly suggest not using Telstar.
Description of Work: We had used Telstar at a previous home and had no issues with their services. After being dissatisfied with the service that was in place at a new home, ADT, we went back to Telstar. They installed their system right away and it was fine for a year. No issues and no incidents. A month ago the system went off in the middle of the night and there was no answer when we called. They assured us that it was a one time issue and they came and repaired/replaced what they had to in order to get the system working again. Friday night same thing, no response, no answer, and when they finally did call back they started to explain the issues with the service that they use for paging. Aren't they the alarm company?

Description of Work: This is the second home I have used Telstar in. Very professional and customer focused. The managed to clean up an ADT mess that the previous homeowner had left me in the current home. Highly recommend.
