The guys from Making Moving Easy NY, did a fantastic job Moving our house into storage. They were professional, and it went quicker than I could have imagined. I look forward to using them again and recommend them to anyone looking for help.

From the moment we ended our first conversation, I knew choosing Making Moving Easy was the right decision. They kept in regular communication with me, and when they arrived they blew me away. Robert and Richard were frindly and engaging, and they were also extremely efficient. They moved me in half the time that we estimated. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Mason was our contact person till our move, he was helpful and was able to change our date a few times due to our closing. The movers arrived on time , they were polite and were careful with all our belongings. We moved on the worst day , rain , icy , snow and was like 14 degrees. They didn't complain about the awful cold weather, thankfully didn't slip and fall while carrying our belongings. Both guys were polite , respectful and very helpful. It did take them longer to load and unload everything, but that can happen when you don't realize how much you have. The weather was certainly not in our favor! Thank you for making our move as easy as possible and less stressful.

These movers HELPED me move on October 8th, 2022. I want to emphasize HELP because i had to move EVERY piece of furniture to the front door in order to keep us within a REASONABLE time. I PERSONALLY BROUGHT DOWN 6-8 PIECES OF FURNITURE THAT I PAID FOR THEM TO BRING DOWN. Besides taking their time to move anything, with 1 piece of a sectional taking almost 20 minutes to get into a truck (no matter what angle, that is unacceptable. It took me, a desk jockey, less than 7 to get it upstairs.) They damaged over $1600 worth of furniture. They loaded the UHAUL poorly, causing furniture to fall on top of other pieces scratching, denting and ruining multiple articles. Then, they took the "liberty" to install my dresser drawers, and broke the slide bearings on the drawer. That drawer is no longer able to be used. I reached out THAT NIGHT and did not recieve an answer for almost 2 full business days, only AFTER i reached out to UHAUL to get some help. The company finally "acknowledged" the bad taste in my mouth but has since gone radio silent AGAIN. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. They damaged 4 pieces of my furniture and charged me for an ADDITONAL hour while their employees dragged their a****. I don't get how you can take SO MUCH TIME to load furniture and STILL DAMAGE SO MUCH OF IT. We have contacted them with NUMEROUS emails through out the week, with only 1 single response back (THE ONE AFTER WE TOLD ON THEM TO UHAUL). So much for someone "reaching out soon to resolve the bad taste left in our mouth". Over-glorified $360 scam is what it is feeling like at this point. My parents could have moved us better.

Mason was in constant contact with us, and communicated every step with us. We were very impressed with the two gentlemen who came to help us move our adult son. They were courteous, quick, hard-working and very careful with certain items. They even forgave me when I accidentally threw out their Red Bull! It was a hot day, and these guys busted their butts for us. We are very grateful and would recommend them-----100%!!!!!

When my wife and I decided it was time to move from our home of 30 years into a smaller place, we had no idea where to start. A friend recommended Making Moving Easy NY, and we're so glad she did! Awful...service date a day late because they couldn't secure a rental truck. Didn't even offer me a discount due to inconveniencing me arriving a day late. Instead, charged me 140 % more of the estimated price. They gave an estimate of $860 then charged me $1900, saying I had more than were told, which is an outright LIE. Being they didnt show up the day they were supposed to, I rented a van and made 2 truck full loads and 3 car loads full with the help of landlord, so there was less for them. They came without proper equipment despite getting a detailed list of items including measurements, one being a side by side refrigerator being taken upstairs, with no appliance dolly. Damaged several pieces of furniture and appliances, with chipped wood and scratches because they didn't wrap or cover furniture. Then asked for b4 and after pics, when giving damaged photos, they ask me what do I think is fair compensation for damages. When I told him (Robert)to make me an offer, he says workers claim my stuff was already damaged. My advice is, be aware of all your items and most def beware of who you hire!!!

I recently used MakingMovingEasyNY to move from my apartment to my new house and I could not have been more pleased with their service. The entire process was easy and stress-free from start to finish. The movers were prompt, professional, and courteous. They took great care in handling all of my belongings and made sure to put everything in the right place in my new home. They even helped me assemble some furniture that I had. Things went amazing, they were quick, efficient, reponsive and very nice! They maintained clear communication throught the entire process, arrived right on time and made the entire move slide like butter. 11/10 moving experience, would 100% hire again and will be if the need arrises!

The crew was on time, courteous and did more than what was expected. They were asked to move furniture that was in the house to make room for my things. They did this without extra cost. They worked hard and made sure the job was complete before they left. They were very friendly and kind to me. This is the second time I hired them. Both times they did great work. I will recommend them to others that need to move.

We hired Making Moving Easy to move my elderly father. It was the worst experience that I’ve ever had with any business. The movers severely scratched our truck with a bed frame causing $720 worth of damage. When I asked them how they planned to make it right, they intentionally made me feel physically threatened (I’m 5’ 4” and pregnant mind you) and stated that I couldn’t prove they damaged the vehicle. Prior to the movers damaging our truck, one mover was on a person call with the police “reporting this tenant for smoking” which meant I was forced to carry items up stairs to ensure my frail elderly father could sit comfortably in his new apartment. The movers were unprofessional and have not responded to our follow up contacts about the damage. This moving company was the cheapest for a reason - you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this service under any circumstance.

Amazing, nothing got broke, all workers were polite and respectful

It was fabulous. From the time the three young men showed up in the morning with coffee and donuts until the last item was delivered. Robert the owner and mover and his wonderful helpers were the best. It went so quickly and smoothly from start to finish. They were so nice and helpful they made our stressful move almost fun. We are so grateful that we hired Robert and his crew, they made are move much less stressful then we expected. Just a great group of hard working guys. Would recommend to anyone!

THEY ARE THE BEST! We had four different closing dates by the time of the move. Robert (the owner and worker) was very flexible. He accommodated us and was responsive to our numerous questions via text and telephone. We have hired quite a few moving companies over the years. We could NOT have been more pleased with Robert and his crew. They were all very efficient, hard working and treated our belongings as if they were their own! We had much more to move than could have been anticipated. Even after a very long day’s work, they continued until the job was completed at 1:30 AM. The dedication and the care with which they treated all of our stuff is remarkable. In addition, we were pleasantly surprised that each crew member was extremely polite and friendly, despite working so late into the night. We were so pleased with their services, we rehired them two weeks later.

These guys were excellent. They got everything done in 1 hour. They were fun and great to talk to. They communicated well if they were late or whatnot. I recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic service! My girlfriend and I just did our first move together and they showed up on time and were professional and quick. Very friendly and great customer service, asked for some info about the move prior so it was all smooth sailing! 10/10 would recommend.
