Rossouw Excavators provided an estimate and began repair on our decks within a weeks of us accepting the estimate. During the repair, he realized there were a few additional repairs necessary on the deck floor and railings and insisted on a better quality paint (at no additional cost) since the deck hadn't been taking care of for many years prior to our purchase of the house. He worked at a good pase and around the elements and was able to finish very close to schedule.

We have been using Rossouw Excavators for 20 years for all of our home repairs requiring excavation, and we have always been delighted with the results. Twenty years ago, we had our dry well replaced. As a bonus, we had large tree roots removed where we wanted to plant a vegetable garden. About fifteen years ago we had the pipe between our house and our septic tank replaced, and we had outdoor cleanouts installed to make sure the pipe remained clog-free. Seven years ago we had new septic fields installed and care was taken to keep the lawn in good shape – within a few weeks, everything looked as good as new. Last month we had the footing drains around our foundation unclogged, repaired and partially replaced while curtain drains were installed on three sides of our house. The repair included the pounding of 22 bags of concrete with a tamper handle @ a 45Deg angle under the footing. Rossouw Excavators also leveled and graded our property after trees were removed, improving the drainage, giving the property a great look and making way for a beautiful lawn. Our mid-century modern house has many special architectural features, which adds to the excavation challenges. We rely on Rossouw Excavators to do an expert job and leave things clean. In addition to excavation, Rossouw Excavators does all kinds of construction and repair. Six years ago Rossouw Excavators remodeled a bedroom wall and built and painted a new doorway and trim. Then drywall was replaced in our laundry room and a new vinyl floor was installed. After several floods that we had because of our previously clogged footing drains, our vinyl floor is still in perfect shape. Rossouw Excavators framed and installed a new door and put in a staircase last year, cutting through an exterior concrete block wall. James Roussouw makes sure all appropriate codes are complied with, working with the building department so we do not have to deal with any compliance issues before, during or after the construction.
