Description of Work: Performed pre-purchase house inspection. They were thorough and reasonable with the inspection. They answered all our questions during the inspection and also question after the job was completed.

 + -1 moreEverything was great up until the point that we received our results report. This is where my satisfaction waned. The report included descriptions of the mold types that were found; the lab data was not easy to follow or interpret. I had additional questions about how to handle some of the issues that were identified in the report - again, United Inspection was not responsive despite multiple attempts to contact them. I suppose that this firm is acceptable if you only want to identify potential problem areas. But do not expect to get any guidance about how to handle it.
Description of Work: United Inspection was recommended to us through a friend who had mold issues with her home. We became concerned that we might have a mold problem in our home after living in our new house for a few years. Our initial suspicion came up when there was a musty smell coming from the vents in one of the rooms. Frank Libero came to our house and was courteous and prompt. He was very methodical about the inspections and was able to identify several problem areas in our basement and kitchen. He offered to take swab and air samples and asked us how many we felt were ok, as each sample kept pushing up the total cost of the visit from affordable to expensive. We decided to stop after about 5 samples, figuring that it would give us sufficient information to know what we were dealing with. The sampling was thorough. Frank also went into our attic to check an area above a bedroom that we were particularly concerned had significant water damage, but no evidence of mold was found. Test samples were sent to a certified lab, which would be necessary if you are filing an insurance claim.

 + -1 moreFrank Libero and Joe Eberhardt the owner and inspector respectively showed up on time and were friendly, professional and took their time. My buddy called Frank "The deal breaker' because he is so thorough! However, thankfully, everything went great and I was able to purchase my first home.
Description of Work: Home inspector that was recommended by my attorney ( a good friend) Frank Libero is the owner, and Joseph Eberhardt was the inspector. Boy, were they thorough and excellent. Mr Eberhardt showed up on time and got right to work, walking me around the house explaining everything to me in detail and answering any questions I had. He and Frank took pictures made notes and generally took their time and pointed out everything that needed my attention. About a week later I was emailed my very thourough inspection report, and mailed a hard copy as well. Excellent notes, easy to understand writing and a straightforward style was great for me the novice homeowner. Highly recommended!
