+ -1 moreWe had one problem because the Town of North Hempstead requires a Building permit even if you are replacing what was already there. The town inspectors saw a large container in our driveway and assumed we were doing more than replacing cabinets and a floor. It took 12 weeks to get the permit. So if you want to avoid a problem get a permit for the kitchen or bath renovation or get rid of the old cabinets a little at a time on garbage bulk day and avoid the dumpster and permit. The finished product was excellent and would use them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: we did a complete gut and replace of our kitchen. We added some high hat lights, new outlets, replaced our tile floor with a new wood floor, and removed a non load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room. They replaced sheetrock on two walls and part of the ceiling and painted the dining room and kitchen 2 coats. They installed all the cabinets, appliances and crown moldings throughout the kitchen and dining room.
