I scheduled an appointment with Vincent for an estimate late last fall and we decided to wait till Spring to restore the doors due to the upcoming cold weather. We were happy with his quote and he said we would be in touch in the spring. True to his word he contacted me in March to say he would be in touch when the weather got better. He got in touch in the beginning of May and we scheduled a date. Vincent explained everything before he did any work and was on site often. His team is very professional and showed up on time at 8:30 every morning. They covered the work area with drop clothes and cleaned every night before they were leaving. Some days we forgot they were outside working they were so quiet. As the work progressed we were always kept in the loop. I can't say enough about The Finest in Brownstone Restoration and I look forward to working with Vincent and his team in the future. Thank you!!
Description of Work: Vincent Battiloro and his team of The Finest in Brownstone Restoration completely refinished and restored our double outside doors. The doors are over 100 years old and had not been refinished in approx. 30 years. Vincent refinished the inside and outside of the doors. The glass was replaced and the door frame repaired. The doors were restored to hang properly and weatherproofed as well. New brass kick plates were installed and the brass doors knobs and locks were polished beautifully. Our vestibule door was weatherproofed and the molding fixed as well. Also we were in need of a missing baluster on the stairs inside and Vincent replicated it and replaced it.

+ 1 moreIt went great. The wood work is beautiful. Very professional. No timing issues at all. Crew was courteous and professional. My only advice to a consumer would be clearly mark any part of the woodwork you do not want touched. I wasn't living in the house while the work was being done, which was fine, but although I asked to keep a piece as is, I wasn't around to make sure that happened.
Description of Work: Refinished entire 3 floor stair way and entry and center halls. Replaced 2 sets of missing pocket doors, and replaced mouldings.
