I found Anthony using a Google search and reading his reviews on Yelp and Angi. I also relied on his website which showed his past projects at solutionshri.com. The reviews turned out to be fairly accurate and I was glad that I chose him to be my contractor. It was refreshing to deal with a contractor who is a stand-up guy (his subcontractors said so as well which is always a good sign), provides good service (above and beyond) but also gets the job done. I'm already looking to work on more projects with him.

Anthony at HRI Solutions was amazing to work with. He was professional, courteous, and hard-working. He was on-site every day with his crew. He finished my kitchen renovation right on schedule and the whole project was completed within 4 weeks. He kept within the quoted price for the project and consulted with me on any issues and changes throughout the project. He was flexible and great at trouble-shooting. Anthony was very focused on making sure that we were happy with the final project. His crew worked very neatly – cleaning up at the end of everyday and left the site safe and clean. He was also very good at making suggestions to improve the project such as fixtures, lighting, etc. Anthony has also completed several other projects for me including converting a bathtub to a walk-in shower and basement window well repair to prevent flooding, etc. He is a contractor that can work on any aspect of home renovation and repair. I would undoubtedly use Anthony on any future projects and recommend him for anyone looking to complete any kind of home renovation.

Anthony has done remodeling for us in the past and we were always very pleased with his work, so this time we asked him to completely remodel an older home that we purchased as our "forever home." Anthony took the house down to the studs moving stair cases, and adding rooms. The house needed all new HVAC, windows and doors, pluming and electric. Anthony handled it all. He stamps his name on every project and brings a hard-to-find level of excellence and craftsmanship to each project. He takes the time to truly understand what you want from the project and the functions and design you are looking for - even our two dogs rave about the dog shower and mudroom he built for them. We enjoyed working with Anthony and love our new home! We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who delivers what they commit to!

Anthony is a true professional and doesn't leave until the job is done to perfection!! I made a huge error in ordering a large fixture and Anthony was more than pleasant and accommodating when he had to come back and do the installation after I corrected my error - he even ended up ordering the correct size fixture and bringing it to my house because I had a time constraint! I had an unexpected emergency with another room in my house at the same time and Anthony figured everything out for me and saved me from seeking out plumbers and electricians in a hurry! Anthony is a gentleman and is very reasonable when it comes to pricing!! More importantly, he stays in contact and always arrives promptly! Anthony was awesome! In spite of working on a number of big projects, he managed to squeeze in this small job for me because I had a party planned on that day. RETURNEE CUSTOMERS met with Anthony weeks before the date of the job and appreciated his time as he explained in detail exactly what the job would entail. Anthony and his crew carefully reduced 3 bedrooms of old and heavy bedroom furniture into small enough pieces. A large heavy TV room entertainment center was disassembled also. The charitable organizations were not interested in moving or taking these pieces. Anthony rented a large enough UHAUL truck and his crew carefully moved all the furniture from the third floor, out the front door, and loaded up the truck. The crew vacuumed every work area. They were so very respectful of our home and they caused no damage to our walls or doors. Since the job ran many hours into nightfall, the crew returned the next morning and, as promised, drove the truck to a specified dump area. We highly recommend Anthony for his excellent carpenter skills and his expertise in running a smooth job. Anthony is a pleasure to speak with and to meet with in your home. He really helped us out, and stepped aside from his busy renovation business, in order to accommodate us before the sale of our home. It was crunch time for us and Anthony came through for us. Anthony was incredibly friendly and punctual. He was able to repair a section of ceiling by my entryway in time for a party I was having. He is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him!

Anthony Marino is SOLUTIONS, HRI LLC. We read many of Anthony's "A" ratings on Angie's List and were impressed with the great feedback from former customers. We gave him a call, left a message and he returned our phone call immediately. Within a day, he visited our home and assessed the 2 jobs. He is extremely busy and we all understood that the winter snow and icy conditions would have to subside before the jobs could be started. Anthony phoned this past week and indicated that he would be here this morning. He took his final measurements and shopped quickly for the needed lumber, hardware and architectural trim. Anthony and his pleasant assistant worked non-stop and diligently for nearly 4 hours. There was tedious measuring, cutting and reinforcing with nails and bolts. All this work on their knees in a cement crawl space. Exceptional job! The front door threshold consisting of a weather-beaten panel was removed and a new one with white architectural durable trim for outdoors was cut and attached very attractively. Looks beautiful! Now about Anthony......He is personable, professional and a master at his craft. He pays attention to detail and makes certain that the job is done well and aims to please his customers. He takes the task at hand willingly and goes the second mile! Please don't hesitate to call Anthony for an estimate. His work is well worth the wait.......thank you Anthony :-)

Even though there were some scheduling delays, the work done was excellent. The new drawer works very well and the other minor repairs were completed efficiently. I enthusiastically recommend this service provider.

Found provider on Angie's list and was highly rated. Make appointment for estimate and he came on time and reviewed project. After 2 days he gave a quote which was not the lowest but had a good solution to fix the problem. Waited about 3 weeks for scheduling, which started on time and was completed in 2 days. Provider and his helper were thorough, efficient, professional and we were quite pleased with the outcome. In fact, we contracted him to install a wrought iron railing on our side steps. We would definitely recommend him and will certainly continue to utilize his services in the future. A great find!!

I first contacted Anthony, the owner, on 8/10/14 by email to ask if he could handle the type of job I required. He phoned back right away, and arranged to visit the property (my rental house) within a few days, and then contacted me by phone to discuss his findings, several options, and to provide an estimate of the cost of doing the repair. I obtained one other estimate, which was about $200 lower, but which did not include the cost of materials. I decided that because Anthony provided exact costs, including materials, based on several options for scope of the repairs to be done, I would go with him. I was also impressed that he was very responsive and thorough in discussing not only the specific items I requested be done, but also other issues which he discovered in examining the property, which would be worth considering addressing at some point in the future. In our conversations, he seemed to be the type of contractor that values a long term relationship with his customers, and who is not merely interested in doing the job as fast as possible and moving on to the next customer, never to be heard from or seen again. Although there was a bit of a delay on my part in deciding to proceed with the job, and I finally gave him the go ahead on 9/15, Anthony was happy to schedule me as soon as possible, and arranged to do the work on 10/6. He arrived on that date and did the job as we discussed, though he apparently decided on his own to use stain rather than paint, as I'd requested. Perhaps there was some miscommunication between us, but it's not a huge issue for me, given the results (see below). I'm not sure how the stain will look in person, whether it's a better choice for long term durability, but he did, at least, send photos after the job to show how it looks post repair and staining, as well as how the new bare shingles looked prior to staining. All in all, I'd say the work looks pretty good, considering that it was intended to be an interim solution to re-shingling and painting the entire house and garage, instead of only the most obviously broken and decayed sections. From the photos, he did a credible job of matching color of the existing and adjacent paint work, though the photos of the surface of the 2nd floor dormer make it look a bit less smooth than I would have expected given that, I believe, he replaced all of the shingles on that part of the house. But what I appreciated most of all in the actual work done is that Anthony decided at the time of the job to do a bit more shingle replacement and staining than I'd originally asked for because in his view, there were additional places that really needed it. He did not charge me extra for the additional work, which, of course, was the right thing to do, given that we'd not discussed doing these additional spots. But it was a good business decision on his part because the small cost of additional materials and a little extra time to do the extra spots went a long way at establishing good will with a new customer, and that encourages me to use his services in the future, because I know that he will not try to get away with doing less than agreed for the same money, as some contractors might be tempted to do in the case of a customer who is not present on the job site. Anthony strikes me as a nice and honest person, easy to work with, reliable, and the type of contractor whom I could envision hiring for other jobs in the future, though his prices might be a bit on the higher end of the spectrum than might be found if one bothered to shop around more. Of course, for relatively small jobs, like this one, the price differential doesn't amount to that much, and his reliability and responsiveness makes the possibility of finding a slightly lower price not necessarily worth the trouble, particularly since he goes the extra mile and is generous with doing what he feels is necessary to do the job right.

When communicating with Anthony, he always answered his phone and returned calls. He was considerate to schedule appointments at our convenience and arrived promptly. When assessing the work to be done, Anthony discussed options without pressuring us into a decision. Anthony offers his professional advice, then proceeds with the job until the objective is fulfilled. He is extremely professional, accommodating and reliable. We intend to contact Anthony for future work to be done in our home, and would certainly recommend him to others.

Anthony was careful to do a good job. Of all the people that I called, he was the only one who climbed on a ladder to take a look and do the job that was necessary, rather than the job that is convenient. He was responsive, thorough and pleasant to deal with.

Anthony Marino is a refreshing change to the numerous contractors we have retained over recent years. He is multi-skilled and able to handle both small and larger projects. His jobs come in very close to his quotes, he shows up when he says he will, he does amazing work with a perfectionist's attention to detail, and advises every step of the job as things sometimes change as the job goes along. He is also very tidy and cleans up after the projects are done. I have several more projects lined up that I will retain his services on and am very happy we found him!

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Anthony came over to assess situation on a Friday night, gave us an estimate the next day and came over to do the work two days later. He installed new moldings in laundry room, and installed new insulation and ceiling tiles in the basement. Price was exactly as quoted, and was very reasonable, The quality of the work was flawless. Would also mention that Anthony is a very nice and pleasant person to deal with. We'd call Anthony again in a second for any future work, and would recommend him highly.

The closet Anthony built looks like it was always there! It's exactly as I pictured and needed it to be. As the owner of an old, small house with an unfinished basement, storage is an issue. I had a corner of a long and narrow den which was a nice display area for plants. That low functioning corner is now a full sized, practical closet with bar and shelf. It significantly expands my storage options. Estimate, Cost. His estimate of time was spot on. He shopped all materials after consulting with me to present options on door size, handle type, and inside closet configuration. He made suggestions to integrate the structure into the room smoothly, for example, with the molding and placement of existing electrical. I have no comparison for the cost, but now that I see the finished product and the amount of work involved, I got good value for the budget. Work Habits. His communication was clear; his work habits, respectful of my house. He used all clean drop clothes to create a pathway to the work area and in the work area. Despite the rain one day, he minimized the impact on my rooms. He utilized my driveway for his heavy work and sawing and the garage to store equipment and supplies. All were left neat and clean when work was completed. Anthony worked steadily and efficiently, calling me to check on the progress and to make sure things were to my liking at every stage. Job well done. UPDATE: In late September 2013, Anthony replaced three basement windows. Again, a quality job performed with quality materials in a meticulous, professional way. Thank you! UPDATE: In early Dec 2013, he removed a huge attic fan from my stairwell and replaced with a configuration that will still give us access to the attic. Not a complex job, but a tedious one. This change will help alleviate drafts and help insulate. Good job, thanks.
