Description of Work: I've known John for 25 years and he is meticulous about his work and planning. He's done everything from building a beautiful screened in porch to fencing in our yard to crown molding. He is honest and fair pricing. Recently had a problem with a part of the fence in backyard that settled due to nearby construction. He came up with a innovative answer that was less costly then digging out a post and replacing panels. No hesitation in recommending his work for any home improvement.

Description of Work: Gut and remodel kitchen. Removed wall and put beam in kitchen and basement.

Description of Work: John installed a shower unit in our rental unit. It was a very small space and the original unit was incorrectly installed. John repaired the structural issues created by another contractor.

Description of Work: I used Top Notch Improvement about three years ago. They completely gutted and remodeled my kitchen, dining room, and part of my living room. They did some plumbing and some electrical.

Description of Work: I have been acting as general contractor and hired owner John Boyd to switch out vanity/redo plumbing and install a stained glass window in Master Bath. As usual he had to deal with the poor quality workmanship of the original builder Mr. Bob Howard of Saratoga Enterprises (see previous listing) as area not square. I have use Mr. Boyd before on porch, basement, arbor, fencing jobs and he is a reliable, quality, creative worker. I cannot say enough in these days where pride is not always a consideration in someone's work; It is at the forefront in Mr. Boyd's work. If you use him he will become someone to rely on in future projects.
