+ -1 moreThe steps have remained in excellent condition for the past 5 years. They left the place very clean and were able to reuse some materials I already had, saving me some money. I have been very impressed and satisfied with the quality of their work.
Description of Work: Wild Apple rebuild my front stone steps to my front door in the summer of 2009. I'm not sure of the amount of the service.

Description of Work: They did more than expected in a short time frame. Built the entire wall in 4 days and also worked on cleaning the pavers on our walkway. The rock wall is much nicer than we expected. Very professional with expert work. Very happy with the entire job. Would absolutely recommend them.

Description of Work: NICE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. A STONE YARD TO DIE FOR, GOOD IDEAS UNFORTUNATELY THEIR ESTIMATE WAS MUCH TOO HIGH.

+ -1 moreTom was very involved with the day to day of the project and was very responsive whenever I needed him. In fact, the next summer when the ground shifted a bit and caused a couple of blocks to drop slightly, he came right back and repaired it. Wild Apple has been nothing short of spectacular and they will be my only source of stonework in the future.
Description of Work: Tom and his guys installed a beautiful patio around our pool and through the back yard with stone garden boxes. We had a basic idea of what we wanted and he expanded it to a finished design that we fell in love with.

We drove over to his shop and and told him what we were looking for a varigated bluestone versus the standard "blue" bluestone, he was able to show us several samples and pinpoint exactly what we were looking for. When we finalized the order with Wild Apple we were given a written quote and gave a deposit of $1,500 (Tom is a really nice guy; and I can honestly say, we had no reservations about give him the deposit up front). We were told to expect delivery of the stone in 1-2 weeks. When we still hadn't heard anything about the order in two weeks, my husband called Tom, the owner, who promptly took action to get the ball rolling. After all was said and done, the order took about three weeks to arrive from date of placement, but was worth the wait. The stone has a nice hue and the beautiful rocked edges that we ordered. Additionally, I think Wild Apple's prices are a little better than the competition.
Description of Work: Ordered custom cut 2" bluestone for a porch landing (54" X 87") and 9 treads of various sizes. While other places could only guarantee traditional bluestone, Wild Apple was able to get us a varigated bluestone with red and green hues throughout, which was exactly what we wanted. The owner is very involved in the day to day operations, personally coming over to scope out he job, ensure correct measurements and deliver the final product. Tom, the owner always returned calls promptly and was extremely pleasant and helpful. Additionally, Tom went above and beyond the standard services offered by arranging for help in order to place the 900 lb platform we ordered into position. I would definately recommend Wild Apple for their beautiful stone products as well as the stellar customer service.
