+ -1 moreMy dryer was making very loud noises and was shaking the whole house. Steve came and repaired it and did an excellent job. Simply put, Steve deserves every one of his 5 star reviews, he's honest, on time, neat, and one of the few appliance guy's who tells you exactly like it is. He was very clear up front that it would be ~$200 if it was simple and more if more complicated and that's exactly how it was. Steve is honest and won't waste your time or your money
Description of Work: Fixed Dryer that was very loud and vibrating to a degree that was unusable. At first Steve thought it needed a new motor and gave me an estimate. As he put the machine back together he said he was going to look at one more thing which turned out to be the issue. In the end the cost was exactly what he estimated (a little less) and he didn't upsell me on anything - he told me the rest of the dryer was in good shape and actually showed me the parts as they are today. Before he started he was very clear on what I should do if the job ended up being very involved all in the name of saving me money as the customer. I really appreciated that. Only person you should call if you have an appliance needing repair, hands down

+ -1 moreSteve came within hours of being called, despite him initially telling me he was all booked up that day. He arrived when he said, took about 10 mins to diagnose the problem, fetched the part from his car, and hey presto the compressor started back working. I hadn't called Steve for about 5 years and he was as pleasant and responsive as ever. I cannot recommend him enough. the service was $95 and the cost for the parts was $130. He indicated if the fridge failed in the next 24 hours, he would refund the money for the part.

+ -1 moreI called Steve because of the many A ratings. Called twice last Monday, September 15th, left a voicemail but no response. Called once more on Tuesday, September 16th, again left a voicemail but didn't receive any response. I called GE service and they came as I requested. I know that I probably overpaid GE, however the service was excellent and he was able to repair the fridge right away. I don't understand the hundreds of A ratings for Steve but I will never be a customer nor will I recommend him.

+ -1 moreCalled late afternoon on Friday and he immediately returned call. Steve came the the next morning to check dryer and determine what needed to be done and the parts required. He was back on Monday morning with the parts and repaired my dryer. Working great now. Found him to be very professional and he definitely did a thorough job. He even went out of his way to double check the outside vent to make sure it was working properly after the repairs. Would not hesitate to call him for any future appliance repairs.

+ -1 moreI couldn't have asked for a more positive experience - Steve was responsive, I was able to make an appointment quickly, he called to confirm before my appointment, showed up on time, and fixed my ancient refrigerator! He's very honest and straightforward, and tried a test first to make sure that replacing the fan motor would not be a waste of my money. This meant he needed to come back a second day, but only charged me for one visit. I would highly recommend Steve for any appliance repair!

He also inspected the compressor. I appreciated his promptness and professional manner. Cost was appropriate for a same day house call by a professional. 4 days later the fridge is working fine.
