Once the part was at hand, the repair took less than 40 minutes to comlete.

Steve kept me informed about the whole process. He kept me informed as to his availability, as to what he was going to do, and how long it was going to take. He also gave advice along the way but never pressured me to take it. A pleasure to work with.

Steve made a firm appointment and showed up on time. He anwered all our questions and concerns and covered all possible outcomes.The price was more than fair: he performed the task for the service fee we had previously agreed on for the house call - no extra charge. My husband and I were very pleased with the whole experience and we give Steve the highest recommendation.

Steve came very promptly to give me an estimate, which he then applied to the work he did. He had my dryer unit rebuilt bc a new factory dial alone would have cost us $200 alone! He also fixed the springs on our dishwasher door and even found a frayed wire, which he replaced for free. Moreover, since there was a minor delay in getting the dryer unit back, he delivered it to us on a Sunday because I have a little one at home! Very considerate, professional and fair with pricing!

He was prompt and courteous. I had used him a few years before but had lost his card. I was so glad when I selected him again. The card is now in a safe place.

Steve responded to my problem very quickly. He explained my options to me so I can make the best decision. He was professional and experienced.

The washing machine broke on a Sunday night. My husband left a message on Monday morning. Steve called him back within an hour, and even though he had a very full schedule, he called first to let us know he would arrive around 6:00PM. He came to our house the same day, Monday evening, (right on time) and diagnosed the problem. The water sensor for the wash cycle had worn out after 8 years; the first repair needed for this machine. Steve ordered the replacement part, which he received promptly, and installed it for us on Wednesday evening after we got home from work. Steve did not charge us overtime for his evening hours or for rushing the part delivery. We are very pleasantly surprised by his great customer service and his attention to detail, which unfortunately is rare among many contractors and service providers today.

Steve came himself - was punctual, professional, courteous, repaired the washer and then followed up the next day to make sure that the washer was working properly. I feel confident in recommending him to my friends

Steve's a hands on mechanic. Came over to do the repair within the hour that he said he would. Fixed the machine. Liked my dog. Very fair price. And, he told me how I could prolong the life of my dryer. Very professional and a nice guy.

My refrigerator door has not closed properly in years. Finally got to me and I searched for a repairman today around noon. Found Steve, called him and later today, he came by and was able to fix it. I am delighted it's done, delighted with his quick response, efficiency and pleasant demeanor. What a nice experience! Highly recommended:)

I needed to have my 10 year old GE refrigerator checked when it started to act up - temperature fluctuations. I called Steve based on the large number of excellent reviews in Angie's List. He answered immediately and told me that he has a charge (reasonable) for the visit. He said that he tells the customer what needs to be repaired, the price of the repair and if he thinks it was worth to do it. In case the customer wanted to go ahead, he would apply the visit charge to the repair cost (fair). He was willing to schedule me the same day, but we agreed on the day after – a Thursday. We agreed on a window between 10AM and 1PM. Steve called about 10 AM to tell me that he’ll be over in about 20-30 minutes. He arrived on time, identified immediately the cause of the problem as the defrost heater, told me how much it would cost and that he thought that the repair was worth it. After I agreed to go ahead, he asked for as many old towels as I had, as the repair was messy. Steve finished in about 1 hour and there was absolutely no mess (a lot of water and ice in the towels- but none in the fridge/freezer or on the floor). Steve called me the next day, Friday. He told me that he was going out of town for the weekend and wanted to make sure that my refrigerator was OK before he left. It was a pleasure to deal with Steve from the beginning to his follow up call the day after he did the job. I will certainly use his services again and I already recommended him to a friend.

Called for servicing of my oven. Spoke with Steve. We scheduled a day and time for him to come by for the estimate and he also offered to call when he was on his way. He arrived at the scheduled time, was pleasant and courteous. Upon inspecting the oven, it was determined that the ignitor had to be replaced and the price was discussed. I gave him the go ahead and the work was performed and tested. Very pleased with the quick response and efficiency on the servicing of my oven. I'll have to bake him some cookies! Would definetly recommend.

It went wonderfully well. He came to my house within 2 hours. It was a pleasure from start to finish.

My 3-year old refrigerator quit the day before Good Friday. I went to Angie's List. I called Steve's Appliance Repair (because of amazing reviews from other members). He answered immediately. I described the problem (not cooling at all, but lights still came on). Steve said it was probably the circuit board. He said he couldn't make it that evening (it was already 6pm). Would the next morning (Good Friday) be alright? I never thought I could get a repairman on a major holiday weekend! Steve said he'd be over by 9:30 am. At 8:30 he called and asked if he could come by early. How often does a contractor call to say he'll be early? Steve was on site by 8:45. He pulled the refrigerator out from the wall, ducked behind it and removed the back panel. He hooked up some test equipment and quickly concluded it was the computer board. Steve went out to his truck and came back with the replacement part (brand new from the original equipment manufacturer). He quickly replaced the part and put the everything back as he found it. He work is exceptionally neat and clean, and he is very pleasant to work with. It is always gratifying when a person lives up to glowing recommendations. In Steve's case he exceeded them. His fee is modest compared to the quality and speed of his service. He's cheerful and friendly, highly knowledgeable and exceptionally punctual. The price he quoted over the phone was the price he charged me. I will certainly call him for any future repairs.

He came right away. He showed me what was wrong, and then fixed it! He was very confident and knew what he was doing. I was very impressed that he actually showed me the problem. He gave me a whole year guarantee.

He immediately returns phone calls and arrives promptly when he says he will. He is clean, works fast and appeared honest.

I was very happy overall with the way Steve communicated, his honesty above all was very refreshing. His fees were very reasonable. I will most certainly use him again, and highly recommend him. He has A++ in my book.

This was one of my most pleasant experiences with any repair service or contractor. I contacted Steve about an hour after discovering the problem. He responded immediately and was able to schedule an appointment for early the next morning. He called when he was on his way and arrived very promptly. The problem was a little more difficult to deal with than it first seemed but he did everything necessary to make a permanent correction. The price for the service was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again for any similar problem and highly recommend him to anyone else.

I called Steve to schedule an appointment in the morning and was surprised that he was able to arrive later that day. He called me to confirm his arrival time. He arrived at about 6:45 p.m. - which would be considered after-hours for most appliance repair shops. He expertly diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes, removed the obstruction from the pump, tested the machine several times and cleaned up. The whole job from arrival to departure took about 1 hour. After the repair, the pump was working, but Steve noted that it was making an unusual noise. Because the pump replacement would have been a more expensive repair, Steve suggested that I use it as is, and if the pump fails in the future, he would replace it and deduct the cost of this repair. I thought that was very fair. I will definitely use Steve's Appliance Repair in the future.

Steve was professional and friendly. Made it weasy to del with and quick to resolve....

It was a bit far from his usual area, that is why he came after hours. I would definitely call him again.

I called the cell phone number and Steve answered and said he would be over in a little bit. Within an hour he was at my house and had my washer fixed. He gave me a 1 year warranty and I would definitely use him again.

I have already given all this info when I used him. I don't appreciate having to do it again.

I contacted Steve on Monday January 2, 2012 at 9am. He answered the phone and I explained the problem. He agreed to call me back before noon. He actually called back in 1 hour and made an appointment to come by 11:00 am. He was on time and efficient in his assessing of the problem. He gave me a total price that included his service fee and the part, which he ordered immediately. He said the part should be in by Friday. I was extremely surprised when I received a call from him Wednesday afternoon saying he had the part. We arranged for him to come in 30 minutes, again he was punctual. The total repair time was less than 20 minutes. He did a great job and was both knowledgeable and quick.

t was the 2nd intervention (the 1st one was for a dish-washer, fixed for $65.00 in 1/2 H, several months ago, and he remembered it) Steve is very good at managing time. He lets you know when he is on his way... He seems very careful/cautious for every action. At the end he usually delivers a piece of advice about the appliance, or anything related. It is usually useful and insightful advice (like not to plug your large appliance to a loooong extension cord, but straight to a wall plug.. When faced with a problem, he seems very logical in his approach. For the refrigerator, he 1st thought of the compressor. After testing the relay, he concluded that it was the relay which was at fault. After replacing it with one of the standards parts that he has in his van, it worked. He may have spent 3/4 H max on the premises.
