Steve's Appliance Repair

I contacted Steve's to get estimate on fixing our dishwasher. He came next day and assessed the damage. He was back within a few days with repaired parts and fixed the dishwasher within 30mins. He saved us the cost of new parts and new dishwasher as he was able to repair the broken parts. He was very responsive and professional. I would recommend Steve's work and would use his services again.

I called Steve around 11:00 on a Saturday morning because my dryer wasn't working. He said that he could come by that afternoon which i didn't expect since it was a weekend. He showed up around 4:00. He was very thorough and professional. He took the entire dryer apart and got it to work again, but felt that it wasn't safe and suggested that I buy a new one. He was happy to advise me on selecting a new dryer and even told me where to go and what salesman to deal with. I will definitely use him again.

The spin cycle on my washing machine wasn't operating. Based on the number of positive reviews on Angies List, I contacted Steve's Appliance Repair. He called me back within an hour, asked a series of questions, and was able to diagnose the problem and quote me a repair price. Although we had to wait a few days for the replacement part to come in, Steve followed up by phone every day. The part arrived, we set up an appointment and Steve arrived promptly. The washer was fixed completely to our satisfaction.. I wish every repair experience was this easy - thanks Steve!

The broiler was not working so Steve replaced the ignitor. As Steve says " The hardest working thing on your block is you, your car and your oven ignitor " Well he fixed that and got the burners working beautifully! Can't beat the price...would definitely recommend him.

Found Steve via Angie's list and was not disappointed. Called back in 5 minutes and repaired refrigerator later that same day. Quickly diagnosed problem with defrost part failure. Professional. Knowledgeable. Responsive.

Called Steve at 11AM rainy sat morning he was at my door by 12 noon.

Called Steve at 1pm and he was here by 2pm. Nice and easy going, Steve came in and assessed the problem with my washing machine and fixed it in 5 mins. Definitely, would use him again! You won't go wrong!

Not only did he put in the ice maker but he gave me extras.Steve also put in new hoses and lines. He did a great job and also came the same day I called.

He determined that it wasn't worth fixing the old dishwasher, He recommended a new dishwasher that matched my function and price parameters, He purchased, delivered and installed the new dishwasher at a reasonable price, He was punctual and courteous.

He was wonderful - we were having trouble with our dryer and he was able to trouble shoot the issue in less than 5 minutes and offered a quick, easy and cost effective solution!

Steve is a very hard working, knowledgable and honest guy. Pleasant as well. He came to our apartment on a Sunday (!) after, having been unable to make it to Park Slope when I first called him about the problem. He was scrupulous about scraping off the old, worn material that held the glides and as careful about scraping away the caked felt gasket beneath it so that the glue would bond properly. If I mentioned a particular part, he insisted that it was not necessary to repair it. It was apparent why his rating on Angie's list is so positive. He called the next day to make sure things were okay. We would certainly call him again.

It went well. He found the problems, but was unable to fix them. We bought one new appliance upon his recommendation.

Steve came Saturday 12 noon the same day I called him at 11am.Very honest individual and and expert in his feild also recommened that I should go back to Home Depot and see If they will let me take out a service contract being the freezer is only 15 months old cause it's going to be to much to repair it. It turned out that it was difficult to fix and appreciated that he did not come and charge me for a service call when he would not be able to make the repair.

I called Steve at 2:30 and he was at my house by 3:15. He pulled out my drip pan and saw it was cracked in the middle. He repaired the drip pan and it stopped leaking. He told me he would order a new one if I wanted to however he felt it was not necessary. He is an honest dependable appliance repairman. Am I dreaming? This guy is hands down an angel of mercy. Most consumers, including myself are quite ignorant when it comes to broken appliances. We are usually at the hands of unscrupulous individuals. Then Steve comes along and changes that opinion. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. Call Steve. He is honest, professional and knowledgable. You can't go wrong with this guy. I would use him again in a second!
