Steve's Appliance Repair

Once again, Steve came through with flying colors!!! I called him around 8:30 am and he was there in an hour! The fan was not working and he said it could be one of two things: the fan or the motherboard. He said he would pick up a new motherboard and would be back that afternoon or the next morning. Well, he was back at 2:00 pm, tried the new motherboard and sure enough the fan started working. He used a brand name part, told me to hold on to the old motherboard for a few days and even called me the next day to make sure all was working well! Without Steve the Labor Day barbecue would not have happened! Thanks again.

Steve is the best in the business!!! . Keep in mind, this is a Labor Day weekend when so many companies were not available. I called several companies all day- some did not return calls, others noted that were closed for the weekend. I decided to go on Angie's List and it was the best decision I made. I contacted Steve as he has outstanding ratings.. He is an outstanding professional who places his customers/clients needs first ....he too had made plans for his weekend get-away, but came to my house within 10 minutes of my phone call for service with an arsenal of tools and supplies in his van. If you need an expert in the field who is honest, with an excellent price, and delivers superior work with an exceptional, personality....he is your man. The ailing, diabetic seniors in my home are so pleased as well. Imagine having an inoperable, broken refrigerator in your home for days...THANKS STEVE FOR SAVING THE DAY

Steve was great, I called him in the morning, told him that the clothing was still sopping wet after the spin cycle had completed. He said he would be over between 2PM and 4PM. He called before 3PM and said he was on his way. He took the machine apart, immediately knew what the problem was and replaced the clutch along with couple of other items that he saw that needed to be replaced and/or rebuilt. He was very professional & personable. I will certainly call Steve again if I need any other appliances repaired.

Once again Steve was great. My extra fridge was not getting cold. He came over and knew what the problem was. Ice in the line. Defrosted it for two days and now running just fine. Thanks Steve !

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE USED STEVE FOR REPAIRS. I CALLED HIM IN THE MORNING AND HE ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY. I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM WITH THE GAS LEAK. STEVE SAID HE WOULD CALL ME LATER TO LET ME KNOW WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY. WHEN STEVE GOT HERE HE CHECKED THE STOVE BUT HE COULDN'T FIND THE GAS LEAK. HE CHECKED ALL THE LINES AND VALVES. I KNOW THAT I SMELLED GAS AT TIMES. STEVE SUGGESTED THAT I SHOULD REPLACE THE STOVE WITH A NEW ONE BECAUSE THE GAS LEAK WAS INTERMITTEN. AS I AM NOT IN THE BEST OF HEALTH, STEVE ASKED ME IF I WANTED HIM TO GET ME A NEW STOVE AND SAVE ME THE TROUBLE OF ORDERING A STOVE. I SAID OKAY. THE STOVE ARRIVED EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AND I CALLED STEVE AND HE SAID HE WOULD BE OVER TO INSTALL IT. STEVE IS ONE OF A KIND. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS AN APPLIANCE REPAIRMEN. STEVE DIDN'T HAVE TO GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET THE STOVE FOR ME BUT HE DID.

My experience with Steve was excellent in all respects! I found Steve after learning that the previous person I had used for appliance repairs for over 20 years had retired. Steve answers his own phone calls, and on the rare occasion when I reached his voice mail, he returned my call in minutes. His visits to the house were scheduled promptly and he coordinated all vists with the tenant directly. His follow-up was excellent -- he did everything exactly when he said he would. I also found the pricing of his services quite reasonable. I will use Steve again, and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

This is the 3rd time I have called on Steve and each time has been great. Fixed fridge, dryer and washing machine. Cash only so that can be a hassle but usually not that big of a deal because they give me an idea of the cost.

Steve, came to repair the refrigerator but had to order a part which he did. When the part arrived Steve came back and completed the repair to my satisfaction. I didn't pay for the repair until everything was completed. Steve was a real gentleman and I would definitely use his services again if the need ever arises.

Steve is fantastic! Came when he said he would and performed the work timely & efficiently.

I called Steven early Friday afternoon and left a brief message regarding what I needed done. He called me back 5 minutes later, asked me what seemed to be the matter, and gave me a quote based on what he thought the issue could be. (My washer wouldn't start unless I slammed down the lid over and over again---sometimes taking 10 minutes of slamming before it would run). We agreed on having him come to my home the next morning. He called an hour before his scheduled appointment to make sure we were still on track. He showed up promptly to my home and got right to work. No more than 30 minutes later did Steven resolve our issue! Our washer works wonderfully and I kept Steven's information because I will be using his services in the future! I paid what he quoted me in the phone consultation---the price seemed right in line with his past customers who had similar issues to mine. Steven even followed up 3 days later to make sure my machine was still working. A job well done!

Steve responded to the message I left immediately. We scheduled a time for an appointment. He called to confirm he was coming and what time he would arrive. He was friendly and professional upon entering my house. He looked at my refrigerator and explained in detail what the issue was and what course of action we could take. He never tried to "oversell" me on anything. The following day, he called back to see how everything was working. His fee was very reasonable. I would absolutely use his services again and have already recommended him to my neighbors. Excellent!

After repairing my stove in record time the week earlier. Steve came back about 1 week later just as he said he would and proceeded to install my overhead microwave oven. Once again- No BS- No small talk- just comes in does the work- makes sure that you are satisfied and then goes on his way. Pricing for this service was fair to a fault. On a scale of 1-10- this guy is an 11.

The freezer began having trouble last night and by this morning food was thawing. I called Steve from work before 9AM and spoke to him immediately. He was able to schedule an appointment for me for the earliest time I was able to get home from work. He removed the blockage and installed a heating element that should prevent such blockages in the future. He is absolutely the most professional, punctual, clean and efficient repair person I have ever dealt with; without exception. HIs prices are also more than reasonable. I highly recommend him.

From the first call, he was very easy to reach and work with in terms of setting up an appointment. Upon inspection, he laid out his plans to troubleshoot the problem and procure the appropriate parts in advance before dismantling the dishwasher. He will be back in a few days to complete the repair. As it turns out, I discovered my refrigerator stopped working moments before his arrival. Fortunately, he was able to replace a faulty motherboard circuit quickly and efficiently that saved my frozen foods from melting. He did call back the next morning as promised to confirm the fridge was working well. Thanks Steve.

it went great steve was there on time. he was professional. he was very thorough. we agreed to stay in touch and make sure the refrigerator is fixed.

I called and left a message with Steve about a strange noise my refrigerator was making. He called back 5 miniuts later and showed up at my door just 11/2 hours later. Looking behind the fridge Steve found a leak which was spraying water behind my fridge and dripping down into to my basement. Steve quickly turned off the water supply and fixed the leak with a part he had in his truck. Steve then turned the water on again and double checked that the line was fixed and supplying water again to the refrigerator properly. Steve also made sure I was satisfied with his work. He was neat, fast reasonably priced and polite. I would use him again!

It went well.. I have a load in washing now. I will call him again if I have any other issues. Reliable, appropriately priced service. What more could you ask for?

Steve pointed me in the right direction over the phone so that I was able to find the leak in my washing machine and make the repair myself. Very helpful.

Steve is a diamond in the rough!! What a gem. I am so happy I found him through Angie's list. He diagnosed the problem quickly - and explained it so even I could understand it. He takes such pride in his work and is a true gentlemen. He even showed me how the agitator in the middle had screws that were stripped, fixed that and showed me the difference. Because of him my family will have cleaner clothes! Seriously, he is the real deal - he was punctual, respected my time, called to confirm, and showed up when he said he would - plus he fixed the problem at a reasonable price. How could you ask for more?

Steve was up front, professional and provided great service for a very reasonable price. He came to our house and diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, and return a few days later to complete the repair. He called me several times giving me status when the parts came in, etc. I would highly recommend Steve and use him again.

Steve is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! When I called, he answered the phone, asked what I thought was the problem with my 18 year old stove (the oven was not igniting and there was a smell of gas when turned on), said he could come the next day but would call me if he could fit me in later this day. He did, indeed, call later in the day and was at the house in less than half an hour. He checked both igniters and in fact the broiler igniter was slow and the oven igniter lit but with a smell of gas. He changed both igniters with brand name parts he had in his truck and "Alls well that ends well"! VERY reasonably priced, very professional and he even offered to help put back the "stuff" in and on the stove. He, also, gives a very generous warranty of 1 year. He definitely has my thumbs up for future repairs!

He quickly returned my first phone call and made an appointment to look at the dishwasher. That day he even called to tell me he was running a few minutes late! Steve showed me what was wrong and ordered the necessary part. The day before he was going to install the part, he gave me a general timeframe of when to expect him. The next day he kept in touch and let me know when he was one job away from mine. He checked the dishwasher a few times before he left and requested that I let him know how it was working. I was prepared to buy a new machine so I'm pleased that Steve was knowledgable and professional.
