It went well. The refrigerator cools.

I called several repairmen on Angies List but I went with Steve since he was able to answer most of my questions without referring me to someone else. Like it says on his website, you are dealing directly with the person doing the repairs so there's no miscommunication. Steve was very honest and upfront and instead of replacing the part right away, he asked that we first clean the vent to the dryer, which can take some time depending on the set up of your house. He then came back to finish the job and of course only charged the one service fee along with the repair fee for parts and labor. I would def give him a call if you are looking for a repairman. Perfect, he assessed the problem and replaced the part, oven working fine.

My clothes washer was not working and so I called Steve. He came within 2 hours and saw the problem immediately. It was a simple fix and he did not try to get me to pay for parts that were not needed. He pointed out some other potential problems but there was no pressure to buy. He is honest and professional and I would certainly call him for repair again.

All went well-will always use Steve as a property manager. I need people that I can rely on. Seve is my first call on appliance repair.

This was the second time we needed help with a fridge this year. After a great experience the first time fixing a different unit, we once again called Steve with the same outstanding results - quick call back (5 min), quick response (within a few hours), fair diagnosis and price, and once the part arrived, excellent installation. I called Steve in the morning and he was able to come that afternoon. Our fridge had defrosted and we needed help quickly. He was prompt and had our fridge running again very quickly. He gave us a discount since we found him on Angie's. He gave us a 6 month guarantee for parts and labor. Thank you Steve!

Steve returned my call immediately and was at my door within the hour. He replaced only what he felt was absolutely necessary; advised against costly repairs as my ranges are well over 20+ years and barely functioning. (Can you believe he had the replacement parts on his truck! No need to wait for him to order the part, wait for it to arrive and then do the repair!!) Steve was very professional and did a good job fixing our freezer . He is reliable and his prices are competitive.

The boiler in my Kitchen gas range had a issue. It would take over 3 minutes to start up. Since I had Steve repaire my gas dryer last year, I took no chances with anyone else. I called him on a Thursday and we agreed to meet Sunday afternoon. Around 12 o'clock he called to say he would be at my house around 3 to 4 PM. He called about 2:30 saying he was 1 hour away and by 3:30 he was at my door. Steve know exactly what was wrong however he took the time to first check out the entire stove and he put in a new gas ignitor switch that he had in his truck. He said over the phone the cost would be $140 and it was $140 with a one year guareentee. Gentlemen like Steve restore my faith in my follow man having been ripped off by so many others. You have a problem with a Stove, washer , dryer call Steve. You can not do better than him.

My wife and I are new homeowners and we were officially initiated into the club when our washing machine overflowed. As most new homeowners we didn't know who to call and when we asked friends and family for referrals no one was overly enthused about repairmen they used in the past. Steve had amazing reviews on Angie's List so we figured to him a try. We made an appointment and he arrived the next day. He and his assistant were very friendly and down to earth. He explained simply what the problem was and showed us the step-by-step process. The problem was simple and he fixed it within twenty minutes. My wife and I agreed that we could have been easily ripped off and charged more for parts and labor that wasn't necessary. It's comforting to know that there are honest and friendly repairmen that you can count on.

He came in, looked at my 12 year old machine, quoted a charge for repair and told us it wasn't worth the repair and advised us to get a new machine. He recommended a brand and model and we bought what he suggested and we are very satisfied, He installed the machine for a very nominal fee and hauled away the old one. He is extremely nice and good at his job. I would recommend him very higly. He is an A++++++++

I called Steve on 9/17/13 approximately 10:00 to schedule an appointment. I asked could he come on Wednesday and he said that was fine but asked could he come today since he was close. I agreed and he called to inform he was on his way. About 30 minutes later he was at my door. He asked three questions which I answered then explained what the problem could be related to. He then proceeded to take a look and was dead on with his assumption. He quoted me a fair price which was agreed upon and then proceeded to perfrom the work. All work was done in approximately 30 minutes. Steve ws very professional and curtious. I would recommend his services and use his services again if need.

This guy was great I got him off Angie's list I called him and his secretary told me he was in the field he would call me back he called me within 10min and said any time I want he would stop by true to his word Steve came on time and new exactly the problem one of the best service men I have ever delt with I would deff use him againe

Steve the most honest person i ever see very professional very responsible been honest with me and he able to help me to resolve my problem with washer .and almost did not charge me . i am very happy and recommend him as person who knows what to do

Very well, came in on time, cables cameras power supply were installed in professional manner, very friendly and cooperative went the extra mile to assure everything went smooth. 5 floor building 75' wide by 200' deep pulled cable to 27 locations and terminated in the LAN closet in basement. Installed 27 cameras and 4 TV's two in the main lobby for security and 2 in the basement .

Steve arrived on time and troubleshooted all the issues with the washing machine, he put forward an estimate for the repair and proceeded to fix everything very efficiently.

Steve was excellent. The same time I was arranging an appointment with Steve was the same my daughter was being born. I explained Steve the dilemma and he was very understanding. We eventually worked out a time and his service was excellent. He even explained why he needed to replace my old flexible vent with the newer rigid steel vent. Highly recommended.

I called Steve and received his answering service, he called back within 5 minutes. He mentioned there would be a $50.00 service call fee and he would diagnose the problem at which point he would quote a repair price. Steve was able to come to our home on the same-day diagnose the problem and also made the repair. He was prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend his service.

Steve was very professional when dealing with the mechanical aspect of the job as well as keeping me informed of my options and the steps he needed to take in bringing the dryer back to a working order. I believe Steve went the extra mile for his customer and when some other appliance needs help, Steve will be the guy I go to.

My dryer in the last few weeks was not drying the cloths completely. I came across Steve's Appliance repair on Angie's list. I called him up on September 4th. He answered the phone and took down my info and gave me an estimate right there on spot and informed me he would come out the next day. He called to confirm appointment the night before. He showed up promptly at the stated time and was very friendly and professional. He quickly confirmed his original diagnosis of the problem and fixed it. He also help level the machine and adjusted our dryer vent. He completely explained the problem to my wife, which shows he is an expert in his trade. With some businesses you are lucky to get any customer service anymore but he went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them and have no reason to look anywhere else for future appliance repair. Thanks Joe

Steve replaced the heat coils for the second time, and did not charge me for this. He is a rare gem in the service world.

Let me start by listing the things that I really appreciated about Steve Follow up Punctuality Efficiency with regard to time and effort Thoroughness I called Steve around the second week of August to repair my dishwasher which had water pooled at the bottom. I casually asked if he would also look at my washing machine which kept "walking" and which had problems with the hot water supply. This washing machine is old and was given to me by a former tenant. I had already begun shopping for a new machine and expected that Steve would tell me that this was a junker. Follow Up Initially Steve told me that he was busy and could not get to my place for about five days. I had the same response from four other appliance service people. However, it was only Steve who called me on Friday evening to tell me that he could come on Saturday if I still needed him to do so. I was very happy to hear this since I had had no luck getting anyone else. In the meantime, the work on my wood floors had begun, so I could not take up Steve's offer immediately. What astonished me was that Steve called back five times over the next ten days to find out if the floor was done and if he could take a look at the machine. I never expected this kind of follow up. When I remarked on this, his response was, that this was an unfinished task on his to do list and he would not feel right until the job was done - by himself or someone else. Punctuality Steve gave me a call when he was ten minutes away and arrived before the time that he had stated. This was important because the apartment was now being painted and I was needed notice to get the place ready. Efficiency with regard to time and effort Steve looked at the dishwasher and determined that the motor was not functioning. He said that he had a replacement for the motor in his upstate residence and that he would get it for me, if I did not mind a used part. Of course, it would be significantly cheaper. He will be fitting that motor this week. We then went on to the washing machine. Steve told me that this was one of the last machines made that did not have computerized parts and therefore would be easy to repair. He took the machine apart, put in the water mixer valve and then noticed that the old hoses looked like they were wearing out. He offered to replace them with new steel clad hoses for no charge. In fact, I insisted on paying him half of what he paid for the hoses. All of this took less than 15 minutes. Even as he gave me advice on the positioning of the drain pipe and the optimum load levels, Steve kept working. He was very happy to have me around watching him work and explained what he was doing at every step. This meant a lot to me, as a woman, because I get very tired of people who assume that women have no interest in anything mechanical and are unable to deal with such things! Thoroughness My final criterion for evaluation is in some ways the most important one. I enjoy being around people who enjoy their work because they never leave things unfinished or shoddy. Steve falls in this category. Even though he did not work on the dishwasher that day, Steve made a point of getting the wet vac from his truck and cleaning out the water that was pooled in the dishwasher so that I would not have stinky water in the kitchen. The washing machine was put together, with replacement screws for those missing. Steve moved it back into place, showed me how to reset the machine to prevent it from "walking", how to adjust loads to lessen the stress on the machine. None of this was absolutely necessary but all of this showed me the respect that Steve had for labor and the love he has for the machines. This is what makes a fine workman. Thank you Steve
