Steve's Appliance Repair

Called Steve after seeing his reviews on Angie's List. Liked the fact that he IS his own company - he is the one who comes to do the job. Explained to him what happened on the phone, he promised it would not cost more than $100 to fix, and he was right. Kept in touch by phone about his arrival time. Steve was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. and fair. Would definitely recommend Steve and call again if I ever need an appliance repaired.

My oven died in the middle of a pork roast. I checked Angie's list and saw the great rating for Steve's Appliance Repair. I called him at about 4:00 pm and he was at my house within a half hour. This was on a Sunday too! He had the repair done in no time and was very friendly. I highly recommend him.

Excellent. He came out on a Saturday to help me, we needed to fix before the closing.

All went great. He came out with little notice on a holiday. He actually diagnosed and fixed the problem for a lower price than others had quoted.

My dishwasher was not draining. I called him before Christmas in the morning and he came that same day. We scheduled the repair for yesterday and he called to say he was running late which is very rare. When he came out I asked him about replacing a gasket on my refrigerator, he went to the truck and came back with a part to fix the door. He was professional and honest and didn't try to over sell me on repairs I didn't need. He will be back out to fix my oven soon.

Steve was on time, very personable and was very helpful with sharing his knowledge on the product. I would most definitely use him again. He also was great on the phone with trouble shooting. He listened and did not push you off like you did not know what you were talking about. A great find.

Imagine my distress when I tried to light the oven Friday 12/20 - 5 days before the Christmas holiday and it would not light.! Visions of Christmas dinner at White Castle running through my head! I called Steve around 8pm Friday night and he called back within 5 minutes and said he would call me in the morning if that was OK? It sure was! I had initially called Whirlpool and was told the next available appointment was 12/31 with a service charge of $99. Steve called me Saturday at 9am, said his charge was $35 which could be put toward the repair and he was at my door within the hour. Steve is very pleasant, professional and the charge for the repair I felt was very reasonable. Repair was completed very quickly and my daughter and I were baking cookies by noon! VERY satisfied customer!

He was top notch. I've used him in the past. He's honest and made sure the part would be available the next day.

He was prompt and came over on a Sunday. He diagnosed the issue quickly. He provided a very low cost solution which worked perfectly.

Steve was extremely responsive. I gave him a call on Tuesday and he came the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts to do the job. Overall, we were very pleased.

Steve came the same day.... it was one of the hoses hitting the washing machine. He put in a cloth to stop metal hitting metal and it has worked perfectly ever since. I should have written this earlier but I was away.

Steve was great, he showed up when he said he would, assessed the problem and called back with information on the part. For reasons not worth explaining, we ordered the part online and Steve showed up as soon as we called him to install the new part. We are so happy we did not use teh manufacturer recommended service providers. They quoted $75 just to come lok at the appliance and were not flexible with their schedule. Steve was relentless at making sure we were happy, charged us very reasonably for his time and we will definitely call him again if need be!

Steve answered my call and came the next day! He evaluated the problem with the dishwasher which I told him that my tenant reported a leak and the top rack wasn't cleaning properly. Steve checked the machine and said he would need to come back and take apart the machine to see if there was a part that needed to be changed or just needed a cleaning. He came back on the next convenient time for both of us and fixed the problem and was done in less than one hour. Steve obviously knows his machines and was quick to a**** and fix our dishwasher and best of all, it was very affordable. So glad I found Steve. His number has been permanently attached to my fridge and I feel I'm calling a family member to come help! I highly recommend him.

Steve was very responsive and fast acting immediately following his return from vacation. He came to our home, assessed the damage and order the needed part to repair it. After receiving the needed part, he returned to our place to install it and fix the problem. After taking apart the stove, which was an intricate process, the part he ordered did not fix the problem. He was very honest and straight forward the entire time. We paid him a small portion of the repair cost for his time. He ordered an additional part and returned a third time. The final part that was installed, did the trick and the stove is working great. His final price of $290 for the parts, three visits and travel time, was very reasonable. We will definitely give him a call if we have a request in the future.

My dryer wasn't heating up and he told me it was the igniter? he came to my house at the time he promised and replaced part and it was exactly what he said it was.

He responded very promptly and came quickly after I called. It looks like his diagnosis was spot on since I have used the washer three times since his visit with no issues. He could easily have tried to some minor maintenance and charged me more but instead went with the cheapest option. In addition since the issue was so minor he has given me a free visit if the problem re-occurs. He also took his time to review detergent use and levels to prevent issues in the future. My impression of him is he is concerned with resolving your issue, nothing more, nothing less. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who has issues with their appliances.

My experience went excellently. The staff was very professional and friendly while visiting.They were also highly knowledgeable. The pricing was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this company to others. The response and repair time was very fast.

This is the second time I have called Steve and am very pleased with his responsiveness, his quick assessment and repair of the problem. Everything was fantastic. He was right on time, super-helpful, he explained all of his costs when I spoke with him on the phone. He said he’d be here between 10am and 12pm and he called when he was on the way. By 10:10am he had inspected the oven and everything was fixed. I would highly recommend him and I would absolutely use him again. I wish I had known about him sooner.
