Steve's Appliance Repair

Steve calls you back if you leave a message. He inquires about the problem. Then he gives you a window for his arrival that you can count on and he comes the same day. He charges $75 for a service charge and if you have the work done he applies the $75 towards the cost of the job. He is prompt, polite and professional. He knows what he is doing and doesn't waste any time. He took out everything from the freezer and had the necessary part in the truck to install. You really cannot ask for anything more. I got a six month warranty for labor and parts. I have used Steve before to fix a broken washer when I moved into this house two years ago and my opinion is so positive I would not use anyone else.

Steve was on time and prepared to fix the dishwasher. We have used his service before and expected the best and received it. His professionalism and knowledge of the problem was excellent. He did what he had to do and did it perfectly. I recommend his service to all.

Steve came out the same day I called him to review the problem. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said he would order the part and get back to me. He called the very next day to say the part was on order and he may have it that day or the following business day for sure. The part came in the next business day and he came out to replace the necessary part. What should have been a straight forward repair turned much more difficult because of the poor refrigerator design, he stayed with it and what should have been a 15 minute job grew to 45 minutes. He stayed good humored throughtout and wouldn't quit till everything was working properly. Most repairmen would have given up or charged way more than they quoted because of the extra time, but Steve charged exactly what he quoted. Would recommend him to anyone needing appliance repair.

Steve had a couple of the parts with him, which was good since one of them ended up breaking before he could install it. He was quite pleasant to talk to and got the job done quickly and at what seemed to be a fair price. Conveniently, Steve was working on a job close to where we live and was able to show up within an hour of when I contacted him on a Saturday. I appreciate dealing with someone whose name is on his business since he obviously stakes his name on his service. We'd definitely contact Steve if we have any appliance repair needs in the future.

Steve takes pride in his work. He wants the customer to be happy. He is competent, reliable and reasonably priced. I have used him for several different appliances in my home. I would definitely recommend him.

This is the third time Steve has come to fix something for me. A follow up to my last post...my fridge was fixed, almost two weeks after Steve came I had the same problem. Steve came back replaced a different part and he didn't charge me. I was pleased the way he handled the customer service issue. This past experience was my washing machine filling up and never starting the wash cycle. Steve was away on vacation, so I left a message and waited. When Steve returned he called right away and everyday until he and I could make an appointment. He adjusted and tweaked a part and in seconds it was fixed. He only charged me a little over the service call. I was able to use the machine immediately, Steve is a stand up guy, call him first and you too will be recommending him. He reminds me of the repairmen our parents had back in the day, a rare find these days, a treasure.

Everything went great! Steve is very responsive, diagnosed the problem right away, made the repair for a reasonable fee. Could not be happier. Thanks Steve!

Provider made an initial visit to diagnose the issue with my drier, then returned at a later date to perform the necessary repairs. He was prompt & professional each visit, & did not try to sell me any unnecessary parts or services. He even made a follow-up call a day or so later to see if the drier was working properly & to check if I was satisfied with his work. Needless to say, I am quite satisfied & will be calling him again shortly for an issue with my stove.

Steve responded immediately, fixed the oven within a day or two. Oven has worked fine since.

Fantastic. There is a reason this guy has an A rating from so many people. He is courteous, professional, and a very reasonably priced expert (plus there is a very good chance his repairs and advice actually save you from throwing out expensive appliances). He gives plenty of good advice and tips in addition to his repairs (Vaseline to get the fridge door to stick again!). I really could go on and on, but I feel like you could just read the other 500+ reviews...

We had called Steve six months ago to repair our dishwasher-he was punctual and professional. He deduced that the control board was bad and made an appointment to return and replace same. When he left after replacing board three days later all was well. Last week, end of February, machine stopped again. Steve ordered another board and came in on March, 4th and replaced it at no charge. It is gratifying to find a repair person who honors guarantees and knows his stuff. Will use again if needed and I highly recommend Steve for all your small appliance repairs.

Steve was able to diagnose my problem as soon as he checked my machine. His response to me was always prompt. I was very satisfied with everything he did.

Called Steve on Monday morning and he wanted me to describe the problem so he could determine if it was worth it for me to pay the service charge for him to come out. (in the past I had an A/C problem which he said was not worth fixing over the phone at no charge). He came to the house later in the day and determined that the solenoid valve in the dishwasher needed to be replaced, probably due to freezing. Said he had to get the part and would return later in the week. Called and returned on Wednesday to complete the repair. He explained what he did and made recommendations to avoid a recurrence of the problem.

The service was prompt and Steve arrived as he said he would just a day after I called him. He fitted into my busy schedule and was in and out in a quick manner, but not so quick that I was concerned about the work done. He replaced the blower wheel, replaced some fasteners and cleaned the entire unit for lint before showing me what he had done and then closing it up. I would highly recommend Steve to any of my friends!

My Kenmore gas dryer was making a knocking sound. Steve determined and showed me that one of the rollers under the drum needed to be replaced. He also showed me that the belt was brittle and should be replaced, as well. He replaced both items in a short time and the dryer no longer makes the sound. When I initially called, Steve was on his way to another call, but was able to come to my house in about 1 1/2 hours. Steve was polite, professional and I am grateful that he was able to accommodate my call quickly (even though it was snowing). I would definitely use him in the future. He only accepts cash, however, no credit/debit cards or checks. But the work is thorough.

Working with Steve was great. He was able to come to our place, assess the situation and recommend a solution. We needed a new dishwasher so he was able to order it for us, deliver, and install for a single price. Much easier than having to fend for ourselves. Steve was also great with scheduling the install and delivery, working with us on our schedule, in our case a Saturday.

Steve couldn't have been better. He was punctual, proffesional, and very fair on price. He even came back a few days later once the problem came back and fixed it again for virtually no charge,. I would deffinetly reccomend

It went really well from start to finish. Steve picked up the call and promised to be here in about an hour. The repairman arrived on time. When he thought he might not at he time he expected, he let me know that there was a slight traffic problem. He took his time in assessing the problem. He listen to what I had to say. Turned on the machine to see what was going on. He then opened it up and checked it out. He gave me his diagnosis and estimate of price. Since the diagnsis seemed reasonable, and the price fair, I agreed. He had the parts needed on his truck, and proceeded to do the repair. He gave me a one year guarantee of his work. We've done several loads of laundry since the repair, and alls seems well. Steve sets the bar in service. Steve was at my door within an hour of my contacting him. He not only repaired my dryer but provided me with some excellent maintenance tips to avoid the same problem occurring again. I highly recommend him.

Went very well. Steve has worked on appliances in my home previously, and always does a grade A job. In this particular instance, we discussed the issue over the phone, and Steve suspected I needed a new controller. He ordered the part and brought it with him when he came to visit my home. Upon hands-on inspection of the appliance, however, he discovered it was actually an old and faulty wire. He happened to have a replacement wire in his truck, and replaced it free of charge.
