Our project involved tricky design and construction issues and was complicated by the fact that there were certain elements that we were determined not to change. Upscale worked with us to develop a vision and a specific plan - from the major elements down to the trim - and implemented it beautifully. There were a few problems with subcontractors and we were so appreciative that Upscale held them to account for high quality work -- we did not have to complain, Upscale insisted that the work be done right. For high quality, detail and service oriented work we wholeheartedly recommend Upscale Remodeling!
Description of Work: Upscale undertook a major remodeling of our living area -- remodeled fireplace mantel, chimney and surrounding cabinetry; designed and installed new staircase; installed new windows, refinished hardwood floors, and installed new lighting. Upscale worked with us to develop a vision and a specific plan - from the major elements down to the trim - and implemented it beautifully. The results are truly transformative and the new integrates exceptionally well with the old.

+ 0 moreThey did a fabulous job. They was always courteous and considerate of our needs and wants. They were timely in doing the work - never missed a single day over a six month period. Change orders were easy and reasonable. I would use them again in a heart beat. Their estimate was a little higher than other companies. But I felt the job they did was worth more than they charged.
Description of Work: Did an addition which double the size of our house and brought the older structure up to snuff with new windows, roof and ground drainage.
