Dave was punctual, met the quoted price, and thorough. He explains what he's doing and why he's doing it. He has tons of experience in this arena, and shares that experience with his clients. In addition to being a great Ithaca personality, he's a competent technician who truly has the safety of my family in mind. He's done our vent 3 times now and each time the performance of the dryer has been greatly enhanced. He also takes a ton of photos and sends a detailed report afterwards.

Replaced the looped duct with a straight one to provide a clearer flow. Vacuumed inside the dryer and out. Outstanding service and professionalism.

Dave Chapman may well have saved me from a dryer vent-house fire. The vent had never been cleaned in 7 years, and it was so full that it was in danger of catching fire. The plastic one was not even up to code, and so he replaced it. I had wondered why I needed to run every load 2-3 times to get the clothes dry. Now my house is a lot safer, and I'm saving money by having to run each load only once. He was extremely nice and polite and took pride in his work. He also took the very long old one and all the mess with him. I'll hire him again in two years, which is what he recommended. He was also punctual.
