+ 0 moreFirst off, he tried telling us the receiver of the ceiling fan was supposed to sit outside and taped to the ceiling. My wife had to read the instructions to tell him how to properly install the fan so the receiver would be hidden. Then he was working on the installed fan and he dropped it and it broke. I had to spend almost $100 on a new fan and I will now need to hire someone to install it. Lastly I have a 1 year old, and my wife asked him to make sure he cleaned up the screws because my daughter would put them in her mouth, but he didn’t and he just left.
Description of Work: He was supposed to install a ceiling fan and fix another one for $100.

+ -1 moreThey initially told me that they will be at my house at 9AM and to buy the items for them to use. After 9AM they still didn't show up so I called and then after several calls and texts Elmer replied and said he was having issues at another job do he can only come after 4pm. I waited all day and at 4pm I don't see them. I call him again and he texts me saying he is leaving and stuck in traffic. They end up getting to my house at 5:30pm. They state that they are exhausted and that they are filling in for their father. They continue to do the job but don't seem to know what they are doing. There is dust and nails all over my living room. Finally at 9:30pm after several attempt of measuring the sheet rock wrong and cutting and butchering my existing ceiling, they put up the ceiling and I notice that the ceiling sheet rock is uneven but that they were going to plaster it. I then told them to stop and that I will call someone else since they didn't know how to fix it and it was 10pm at that time. They still charged me $100.
Description of Work: I needed my ceiling Sheetrock repaired after part of the ceiling broke.
