A simple replacement of a fan should not cost $458.00. Home Advisor should do their due diligence on their service suppliers. Do yourself a favor and do not use Home Advisor. I don't understand how businesses don't get the concept, that honesty will repay itself tenfold over.

The boiler went down and they were able to replace the ignitor the same day. That's the good. They suck you in with a low price for the initial visit and then hit you with a very high repair bill. Replaced a $40 ignitor in half hour and charged over $400. Price gouging. Shop around if you can.

Joe, the repairman with 51 years experience and his helper were in and out very quickly. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the ignitor on my 17 year old gas range with a part they had with them. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated, but the service was excellent.

They were positive about the repair-apparently not only was my stove unusual-but 36 yrs+ in age! Although the burner was a universal part -it was NO longer readily available-they obtained it and installed it quickly-within a day or two-really impressed-not cheap but surely they got the job done..kudos to them!
