Arrived on time in the evening and performed the work in an exemplary fashion.

He is fantastic. I've used him for years. He saved me about $700. I needed a basic boiler that would do the job. He is extremely experienced in the old houses in this neighborhood because as a little boy he used to go with his father who was a plumber in the neighborhood so he knows these 100 years old houses. Just before the boiler broke he fixed a corroded pipe that was going from my sink to waste line that was causing flooding to the basement. He is extremely neat and didn't break any more of the walls than he had to. I recommend him to anybody. He is honest, straight forward. He'll give you an estimate beforehand.

I would recommend my plumber. I have been working with him for two years. I like that he is local and when I call him, he calls back and he comes. We have crazy downpours here, so many of the houses get flooded, so he has lot of work but when I call him, he would at least call me back to tell me when he would be able to come out. His wife runs the office and she is lovely on the phone. He is a good guy, he is in the neighborhood and he is reliable. He is really professional and he has lots of guys working for him. At this point, he knows this house because the previous owners of the house also used him and so he has the history of the house and that really helps. The house is a hundred years old and it really does help that it has had one plumber for some time now. He is not the cheapest but he needs to pay his guys, it is not a one-man show.

My boiler blew and he was sensitive to a senior citizen's budget without giving the idea that he gives you crap. He searched around for a boiler that was efficient and energy saving with a good warranty that was still within my budget. It takes a whole day to take it out and put it in. It was $5600 and it includes the boiler, taking out the old one, putting in the new one, plus the electrician's fee for putting in the boiler. The important thing I learned with boilers is that it's very labor intensive, it's not like when you look up the cost of this New Yorker Burnham boiler on the internet, you'll see that it's only about $3100 to $3500 but it took over 8 hours of labor to get the old boiler out and put the new boiler in, it's not like a plug-in thing. One thing that I love about him is that I said to him, "Could you do me a favor and just check my aunt's boiler. She lives next door, identical house and she's a senior citizen." Then he said, "Sure, no problem and no charge." He looked at it and everything. While he was looking at it, he noticed that the water heater was leaking and had rusted in an area where it would go any minute. He suggested a water heater that was within her budget, very high efficiency, cost effective and yet at the same time looked up other options that would stay within her budget. He's also prompt to return a call and it is within a day. You may go into the answering machine but within 3 to 4 hours, he returns the call. They are clean and neat. I've used him for about a year ago because I had a rotting pipe under my kitchen sink, he fixed that and then another pipe rotted because this house was like 80 years old. He doesn't give you the cheapest alternative but he just goes above and beyond to his sensitivity. He's a great guy, I think he's the last of the old world plumbers. He gives you good service, he gives it to you at a competitive price, he's honest, clean, and even if he leaves a substitute to do the job, he always come and stay like for the first 20 minutes or so. All his subs had been excellent and the people he has recommended to me like I needed a copper shower pan, he recommended the last of the old school tile craftsman to me who again was competitive in his price and he was outstanding so I used him again to do the floor. I just can't say enough about him, he's just wonderful. He doesn't charge extra for mental therapy. He calls you when he's going to be early or late. I've recommended him to so many people.

I asked him to check my aunt's boiler next door and while he was looking at it and noticed the water heater was leaking and suggested a water heater within our budget as well. He will return phone calls within 3-4 hours. They are clean and neat. He goes above and beyond. He is a good guy and the last icing of the old world plumbers. He is honest and gives you competitive prices. If the owner doesn’t do the work and has a substitute do the work, he always stays at the beginning of the job to make sure the work is being done properly. The people he recommends are also outstanding. If he is going to be early or late he will call you and let you know. I have recommended him to many people.

For starter I had just gotten a new boiler, I had a brand new water heater, after they completed the work, they would do some work, every fixture in my bathroom was replaced. It was all the cheapest junk in plan in English you can buy. It was Home Depot specials. The toilet, four times it had to be done over. I just thank God that no pipes in the ceiling, than I really would have been in trouble. There were other little things that went on that shouldn't have happened. Right after they completed the job all of a sudden I didn't have no hot water. I called them, he comes to the house and he looked at the water heater and he said I need a new water heater. I said how can that be this is a 14 year. He said sometimes that happens. Needless to say, even if there was something wrong, he would have said this is on the house, it was another $200 to fix something, the switch and this and that. I said I should call Sears but he said don't call Sears we can fix this for you. I did call Sears. Sear had come and said somebody fooled around with this. Somebody did something to this. This is a brand new boiler. I already paid him the $200. The bigger deal was a year and a half after I had this done, maybe two years all of a sudden my sewer backs up. I get Roter Rooter. They come and they open it and asked where is the trap. I said over here. What they did was when they gutted out the bathroom, they threw all this stuff in that hole. My neighbor, this guy and me are digging out the sand from this. He told my neighbor next store they did this to mess her up. They threw sand and debris and all the garbage. How could he think I would not find this out? The next day I called and I left a message. He called me back. I said there is something very wrong. I said I just had Roter Rooter to my house and before I could even finish, I said my sewer backed up and before I got that, he said it wasn't any of my guys. I said I trusted you in good faith, I paid you in good faith. I trusted you. This is so wrong on so many levels. I said I don't feel I should have to pay for this. Then I found out there were more complaints about him. Everything was overpriced. The door is crooked, everything was extra. The window was extra. It goes on and on and on. He's a snake, he really is.

Overall the work was done promptly with little mess left behind.

Wellbrock is first-rate. I have used them multiple times to figure out a plumbing problem and repair it. Each time, without fail, they have come through with flying colors. They are responsible, punctual, and superb both at figuring out what the problem is and fixing it.

The owner came over to provide an estimate for the various jobs I needed done. I thought his price was reasonable when compared to another estimate I received. He was excellent at explaining what was to be done. He knows his stuff and is very professional. The woman at the office was also very friendly. He arrived a couple of days later with two assistants. He showed the assistants what needed to be done and left. The assistants did a fine job making the necessary repairs, but they were a little lax about cleaning up afterwards. The plumber who worked in the bathroom chipped the glaze on the outside of my tub with his shoe. Fortunately I had planned on having someone over to fix the glazing anyway. They accidentally spilled some rusty water on a rug that I didn't notice until after they left. As plumbers they were fast and the quality of their work was fine. They just need to be a little more conscientious about cleaning up. Also they installed a slightly mismatched handle on the bath. I was told I'd have to order two new handles to make them match. I thought they should've put matching handles on at that time and I would've gladly paid the extra few bucks.
