Best roofing decision ever! We hired Royal to replace the entire flat roof of our commercial building, in addition to replacing a smaller roof that sits adjacent and beneath our flat roof. After numerous failed attempts over the past few years to resolve a number of different leaks - some areas would leak in our showroom area, other areas leaked on the 2nd floor and there were other leaky areas under our smaller roof - we finally decided to go with the pro's of the pro's. After doing plenty of research and getting 2 other quotes, we made the wisest roofing decision to date and chose Sean's crew at Royal. The knowledge and attention to detail that was showed through the whole process really gave us the confidence that this company knows what they are doing from A to Z. First, identifying all the problem areas (mainly around our A/C units and all the other openings, such as our skylights on the lower roof, a handrail that was drilled on our flat roof, etc), then having a proper solution and plan of action to address all the problem areas and even offering us helpful advice and recommendations through the process. Great communication across the board, from our talks with Sean and the workers on site. All in all, replacing an entire flat commercial roof and a smaller standard roof is not exactly an inexpensive or cheap expense. However, if there's something I've learned from past experiences - "you get what you paid for and you will never regret getting quality". A quality job will save you tons in the long-run. It never pays to go cheap and if we had known about Royal Roofing before having hired a few independent "so-called" roofing pros (AKA fly by nighters who didn't guarantee anything and obviously don't take any pride or professionalism in their craft), we would have saved a lot of time, money and headaches. Everything at Royal was done with proper detail, professionalism, care and a good attitude to boot. This is by far the most detailed recommendation I've ever given but after my overall experience, they are very well deserving of it. Hopefully, I won't have any roofing needs anytime in the near future but if so, I obviously know who to call now.

It was outstanding. I was so pleased from the first email to inquire to the meeting, to the quote, the follow up work they did to investigate the job site and neighbors, to an even better quote and then extras thrown in (including work on other small roof section and covering cost of using a tenant's electricity due to last minute emergency). Fantastic, fast, courteous, always responsive to call, texts and emails almost immediately. I highly recommend.

Was pleased with how fast they responded to my inquiry. Unfortunately they could not be bothered to follow up with a quote or even a no-quote. When Sean of Royal was made aware of this, apologies were offered. Royal admitted to dropping the ball, and I was open to considering them. Sean promised the still unprepared quote would be furnished on that day, and he asked if it would be ok for him to call me again the next day (8/27/17), to which I agreed. As 8/27 was a Sunday, I allowed for an extra day. Ultimately, I did receive the quote on 8/26/17, although it does not appear to be appropriate for this job, but I never did receive the followup callback that I hadn't requested, but rather that Sean had promised. Had that promised call been made, I would have asked to review what appeared to be parts of the quote that do not relate to my job. What I see here is a consistent miscommunication among staff and a total lack of competence from the top down. The lack of professionalism with my job requirement is such that words fail me.

I got five quotes from five different roofers on this website. Royal was out-of-the-park the most expensive. They took the longest to respond. Their representative was condescending, and knew he didn't want my job, and didn't bother to even look at the problem. He quoted me an astronomical price for what turned out to be a very small job. If you're an industrial owner, or a management company with a huge contract, or a rich person with a big house and unlimited funds, these may be the best in the business. They were obviously not interested in doing the work I needed, and should have been frank, upfront, when I told them what the job was on the phone. They wasted my time.

Sean and his crew was accommodating and have fitted us in his busy schedule. He revised the proposal and materials used to fit our needs. Our roof had plywood damage that could not be assessed till construction has started. His team was able to handle the unexpected situation and take care of the repairs all in 1 day. A heavy thunderstorm followed in less than 48 hours and the roof looked great the following morning.

Rob, Sean and Dave were all very courteous and professional. The company used high quality material. Workers came on time, worked long hours in the freezing cold and finished the project on schedule. The price was very reasonable. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris. I recommend this company highly.

Jeff came to give an estimate but he never followed up. He said he would send the quote by email, but I never received anything. He said it was a small job, so I guess the job was too small for him. This was not a good impression especially when they have so many reviews on Angie's List. This also shows that having a lot of reviews and an "A" rating means nothing.

Gustavo and his guys did a great job! Came early finished by the end of the day and kept the area very clean! Overall very good job.

A rep contacted me soon after my request for service/quote via an online form. Crew was professional and replaced the entire roof in under a day! They installed a complete new roof and gutters, replacing any rotted plywood and ensuring a secure seal around the chimney/flashing. Roof comes with 50-year warranty. (Gutters were added a few days later.) Fast and efficient.

Needed an Inspection done ASAP - they responded promptly, were easy to deal with, and were fair.

The whole job was estimated and broken down in detail. The company is reliable and professional, I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

Did not come with a ladder. Not sure how he was planning to inspect a roof without a ladder.

They did the job in 1 day, as promised. Their work is high quality and also looks very nice. This was a very unique and difficult job, and they did it very very well. They were friendly and easy to talk to.

Been 3 weeks couple heavy rains no leak. These guys know what they're doing and price was fair. I'd give them another shot if I needed them again.

Quote was unrealistic. $9,500 for a job that should cost maximum $4,000. Totally unfair.

Royal Renovators replaced the roof and siding in my house in Brooklyn. I can say they were prompt and professional, and were very patient in picking the best vinyl options styles and colors with me on several visits. When they started the work they had all workers in uniform and finished in only 4 days, entire house. My siding now looks beautiful and is maintenance free. I appreciate all the help, good price, and new gutters we decided mid project to do as well. Thanks guys!

Everything went GREAT! The workers were very courteous and professional. They did a great job and the clean up was immaculate. Most times I find that when you have work done in or around the house, the clean up isn't that great, but these guys were excellent. Nothing was left behind. The pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely use their services again if needed, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
