+ -1 moreHad a hard time getting an estimate when I called "A&A", said they needed the locksmith to examine. When locksmith arrived, he said it would be $65 to fix. Fine. When finished (took 5 minutes), got the bill and it was for $90 ($25 service charge was tacked on to the $65). Called "A&A" and they said that I got a bargain because the service charge is usually $39!
Description of Work: Opened a locked garage door (didn't have the keys).

+ -1 moreI called the locksmith and spoke to the 'owner'. When I asked the pricing he said he'd send someone to look at my lock. We agreed on 6:30. 6:30 & no locksmith. At 6:45 I realize I have a message on my cell from the locksmiths employee. He called at 6:15 to see if I would be home at 6:30. This annoyed me because I'd already confirmed it earlier. I call back and he showed up at 7pm.I asked him how much it would cost and he said he wouldn't know till he'd finished. At that point he'd already destroyed my old lock so I had little choice in the matter. **The locksmith was extremely fast & competent. He was done in 10-15 minutes.** He did not pick up the nails he extracted from the lock. This was bothersome because 1)It was by my garage & 2)it was so expensive! I nearly had a heart attack at the price, to which he gave me a 10% discount.
Description of Work: The key lock to my garage wasn't working. The locksmith put a new lock in and connected it to the electrical wiring.

+ -1 moreTHE TOP LOCK AND THE BOTTOM ONE WERE BOTH MESSED UP AND I AM NOT FOR SURE IF SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK IN AND COULD NOT BUT THAT IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.
Description of Work: REPLACED FRONT DOOR LOCKS.
