Pantec Engineering helped us with the planning, engineering, and management of an exterior facade project our condo needed to remedy multiple leaks we were having. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They helped us come with a plan that was economical and helped with finding a contractor to do the work properly. Highly Recommend.

I contacted Peter of Pantec Engineering regarding a couple of items. First, to review the structural integrity of my newly constructed Brooklyn condo recently purchased, which came back fine. The second was following a flood in my finished basement after a tropical storm in June 2021. Peter visited my property on a Saturday afternoon and conducted a thorough investigation of the plumbing in my condo including reviewing the building plans. He uncovered a major oversight on the how the plumbing was installed. Topline, the water from the roof was being exited by way of sump pump, which is a significant deviation to code. Peter followed up with a comprehensive and detailed report which I was able to take to my board to gain financial support to fix the problem. He made himself available throughout the process including phone calls, texts, and joining a board condo meeting. He offered consultative recommendations with a patient and professional demeanor. He even was able to recommend vendors to fix the problem after my condo’s management company failed to supply vendors willing to perform the work. The plumbing was fixed less than 24 hours before Ida hit NYC and I was able to prevent what would have been catastrophic damage to my property. I highly recommend Peter for a professional independent assessment that requires expertise of a structural engineer.

Highly recommended! Inspected and oversaw façade remediation work that I needed done on my home in Brooklyn that included brick and steel lintel replacement. Pete was stellar. I used Pantec during my home search, and Peter was a consummate professional from start to finish. I had him inspect 2 properties, and I thank him to this day from saving me from walking into a money pit on the the first. He eventually helped me into a beautiful two-family home in Eastern Queens. He was consistently on time (early in fact), very thorough, and took the time to go through his entire report, item by item, to make sure that as a first-time homebuyer I was completely comfortable, and as knowledgeable as possible. I could not recommend him any more highly.

I used Pantec when I purchased my co-op in Jackson Heights. They were very knowledgeable, performed a thorough examination and took the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. They also helped answer questions about possible wall removals. They are terrific and I definitely recommend using them.

Pantec were professional and timely in scheduling an inspection of the home for measurements, and creating drawings to submit for a building permit. We moved a staircase in my home and Pantec made the whole experience very pleasant. Clear explanations of all the steps of the process and fast turnaround to get the permit approved.
