They were amazing and prompt and got the job done!

I had an "infestation" as classified by Magic, in a tough area of my home. First of all, the more corporate entities wouldnt even treat my type of ant...so I can see this is going to be an uphill battle. Albeit slow, they were getting the job done. Had we stayed on with them, it is more than likely that they would have resolved my issue entirely and kept it under control. That being said, It took them 4 visits to convince them the source was in the crawlspace and that they didnt need to be baiting and spraying chemicals in my living area with my 8 MONTH OLD BABY, Nursing wife and 4lb and 8lb dogs....Everyone there could use a customer care seminar. Everyone. If your reading this thinking, "No way. Hes talking about someone else...", then I thought that you were the worst one of the bunch. Not a junk seminar either, a whole day one with lots of GOOD food and drink. If you can deal with a few "diamonds in the rough" then this place might just work. It didn't for me. At the time of this review they were the most expensive option I researched which is why bossman can afford the good seminar and plenty of good food. This is a tough industry and because of that, I would not rule them out as a candidate. You also might not demand excellence when paying top dollar, like I do. Sometimes the customer does know what he's talking about. Shame on you for poisoning my home.

The guys came on short notice and were able to take care of the problem immediately.

Tech evaluated situation and also checked other parts of the house and advised there is no termite or any pest worth worrying about. Also advised what to look out for signs of trouble, especially in winter. They didn't charge anything for the consultation. I tipped him of course for his honesty and expertise. Great company. Great poeple. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

We have a contract with them. They come out to do an inspection about every three months. If we see something, they will come out. We have been dealing with them for 25 years. It is about $1000 a year for all pests. then it is another $1000 for termites. We have two contacts with them. Basically, they are very reliable. They have been in business since the 40's or something. They are easy to get an appointment with if we have something unusual and we need them to come over for. The people are very nice and accommodating. The technicians are good. 70% of the time, it is the same guy but every now and then we get someone different.

They are always on time and very professional.

It went great. The ants are gone and the product they used was safe for my dog.

We've had them for close to 10 years and yet to have any issues.

It went great. We set up a time range and day for them to do the work. A man came over who was very nice and thorough. They came back for a follow up and everything is going well so far. Very good experience.

I had to have them out here multiple times because the problem wasn't resolved. Every time it would be a different person and sometimes those that came out, didn't really seem knowledgeable about termites. And the problem never got resolved my them.

They were very professional, Problem solved.

Over the course of a year they removed my mouse infestation. They did a great job and I was extremely happy with the work that was done. however, at the end of the year they told me that I was all paid up and did not owe any additional money. About six months after that, I got a call saying that I do owe them an additional $170. They are now saying that they will take me to collections if I do not pay the extra money and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I never got one.

We heard some scratching in the walls and knew we had a mouse or something. We called Magic and they came right away. The technician was incredibly honest and considerate. He checked around the house inside and out for signs of an infestation. He saw none. He said that we should wait to see if the noise stopped. We wondered if the mouse or whatever died within the walls if the smell would be unbearable. He said not to worry. and he said wasn't going to charge us for a treatment because he wasn't sure what to treat. Sure enough in a day or two the sound was gone. v And no smell. The technician was right on the money. And we paid just $95 for peace of mind rather than the hundreds an unscrupulous person could have charged us. and the sweet spot is that we can apply that $95 toward future service. It went very well. I've been using them for 2 years or more. We are now mice free. They are very prompt. They send me a reminder card a week in advance. They are professional and helpful. They are coming back out on Saturday. They are willing to work with me.

After seeing bees appearing in the kitchen for no reason I noticed large numbers of them flying outside where the stove vent was. They were flying in a small crack between the vent and the brick. I called Magic in mid-August for help. This was on a Sunday afternoon. After some early problems in contacting them (granted this was a Sunday) a representative came to the house a few days later to size up the job. He was very cordial, pleasant, and professional. A few days later he sent another gentleman who did an initial treatment of the area. This was very effective. As part of the contract they were to seal up the vent with caulking after they were sure the bees were gone. After about two weeks there were still a few bees so a second treatment was done. Some weeks later there was no activity. They returned to seal up the vent. I was quite pleased with the careful controlled approach to this problem, not a simple visit and quick treatment. Their contract stated there was a 90-day guarantee of the job from the initial visit. Thus if you see any activity 90 days out they will still return. I thought their price was reasonable based on the fact this job involved use of a ladder, multiple visits, and also some light contracting services. In looking over many reviews it became apparent each job is somewhat unique in complexity. They provided good paperwork and receipts detailing the work performed. When you call them you get a quick answer from a dispatcher who gets you an answer fast. I would use them again without hesitation.

Eddie the technician arrived at the expected time and he spent about 2 hours. He was very thorough and went thru each room, plugging holes and laying traps. The site of most of the activity was in a closet in the attic and he crawled in there and moved things out and plugged holes and laid traps. He moved the fridge and stove as well. I was happy with the job done and no one has seen a mouse since and that makes us doubly happy.

This company is extremely unprofessional. I can't believe that they have so many positive reviews on Angie's List. Their reviews on Yelp are very poor. Perhaps the service in Manhattan is better. I'm in Brooklyn. We signed a one year termite contract with them and from the start they were consistently late or did not show up to appointments. Once after waiting literally all day for the guys, they finally showed up for a morning appointment after 5pm. When they did show up they didn't have the correct tools and we had to reschedule. The guys who have come to our house seem poorly trained and are often rude, and the staff at the office when I've called are also poorly trained and rude. It seems like all they want is for you to sign a service and contract, and then they stop caring about you. The contract we signed with them was pretty useless, too. Basically, they came to our house twice in a year to check for termite activity. Our house had had termites in the past, but they had already been treated and have never returned. If they had returned, any treatment that was needed would have cost extra under the Magic Exterminating contract, and they would not have covered any property damage from termites that became active on their watch. Seems pretty useless to me. We had just bought our home at the time and had a lot on our plate. If we had done more research, we never would have hired them in the first place. To top it all off, about 6 months after we canceled the service, they sent someone out to our house on Memorial Day weekend, unannounced, to collect the 4 termite traps they had installed on our property. These are non-reusable termite baits that cost about $5 a piece, and that they can't do anything with other than to throw them in the trash. When I told the guy it want a good time and that they needed to call us and make an appointment, he started to harass me in front of my neighbors as if I was in arrears on payments for a service hadn't had for 6 months! When I called the office to complain, they were extremely rude and treated me like I was I the wrong somehow. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company. I'm truly shocked at how many positive reviews they have here, when their yelp reviews are so bad. I've generally fond Angie's List reliable in the past...

They did a good job and they very conscientious.

very thorough. found the source of the problem and osilated it and then took care of it once and for all. fair and flexible pricing plan. the company was very accomadating to my individual concerns and needs.

Magic did a great job cleaning out the basement of the house of any and all mouse droppings, preventative work by plugging any holes the mice could have been penetrating and removing a saturated drop ceiling. Also removed all mouse droppings from the detached garage and left that area clean and sanitized as well. I don't know what the typical cost of this type or size of job, so I am not sure what the price was like relatively speaking. I wanted someone that came highly recommended, was punctual and accommodating and knew what they were doing and were able to complete the job completely. I believe that I got all that with Magic Exterminating. They also came back a couple months later to remove all mouse traps that were laid in the house. A testament to their work, there were no mice in those traps. Would use again for sure.

We have been with them for years, maybe 15 years. The price is pretty reasonable. I have them come quarterly and they don’t charge me to come out in between services. I have a large home though so every home may be different. It’s about $800/year for me.

They didn't return my call, so I didn't use them.
