Description of Work: I switched companies because maintenance fee for Sentricon system charged by this company was 1.8 times greater than service company I switched to. Surprisingly both companies are highly rated on Angies list. It pays to shop around!

This gentleman has been a customer of ours since 2006 and we have never once had any problems or complaints from him. He called up in December 2015 asking us to reduce his rate and we offered a very fair price. He called the next day and told us he got a better price and to cancel our service. We offered a price a touch lower and he said the other company is installing their system at present. It sured seemed like we parted on good terms and he had just gotten a better price, but then all of a sudden we get this horrendous review on Angies List a month later. The oddest part is he did not even find us on Angies List some 10 years ago when he started with us. We did everything we could to appease him and had 10 years of flawless service only to get bashed on a site that he did not even get our name from. I suppose you cannot win all the time.

Description of Work: John from Magic Exterminating did an excellent (and neat) job in installing the termite bait stations. The company gave me the earliest date I was available and finished the installation quickly. The price, through an Angie's List special, was very reasonable. Of course, I have to wait until the warm weather to see if the termites have been completely eliminated. The contract is good, and I have no complaints. I would recommend this company for pest control.

Description of Work: A guy named Ray came out to take a look at an area near my sofa where my son said he noticed little critters moving around on the carpet. Ray came out within about an hour of me calling and he walked in with a smile. He took a look at the area and asked how long the bugs had been bothering me. I told him I didn't even know they were there so they weren't a bother at all. He then suggested that since they weren't being a bother, that I could just vacuum the area and vacuum the carpet beetles up and that should get rid of them. He also said if there were any problems after that, that they'd come back out and look at it again. He was just the sweetest guy and was so nice. In order for him to see the carpet where the bugs were, I had to have the couch pulled up into the bed position and I told him I would need help closing up my couch because it is too heavy for me. He told me I could call him on Thursday and if he was in the area, that he would come over and close up the couch for me. I thought that was the sweetest thing. If I ever hear of anyone who needs pest control, I will tell them to call Magic Exterminating.

Description of Work: After calling Magic Exterminating for possible termite presence (swarmers on my bed, gross), the representative confirmed the existence of termite swarmers with the free consultation (as advertised). After setting up a second appointment, another representative installed the Sentricon termite system throughout the property. Everything went smoothly, and all Magic representatives were always professional and prompt. Furthermore, the Magic admin (particularly Finance) was also very professional and patient with my questions (regarding renewal, etc.). | |The cost might be a bit steep (with roughly $350 yearly renewal), but I do enjoy the peace of mind.
