It was alright. They were quite fast.

I contacted Hong D*** moving company 1 week before moving date , got a quote , and just because they are in the same area of Flushing , Queens , I decided to go with them . their rates were more or less in the same range , not too high , not too low . I reconfirmed the appointment 24 hours by calling them , they never called me to reconfirm . The time confirmed was 2 pm EST . I called them at 10 am to reconfirm again , they said 2 pm it is . Then at 2 pm , it was turned to 3 pm , then 3 pm turned to 3:30 , then 4, then 4:30 , then 5 , then they NEVER came . At 4 pm they lied to me that the building i was moving in , had restricted time , I called the building management , they confirmed that I can bring the movers before 10 pm which was enough given the fact that i was moving from a one bedroom to a one bedroom . They kept lieing , they never reached , never contacted , nothing . And the same guy picks up the two phone numbers , and he cannot speak english . it was next to impossible to understand him , he is very rude , and they ended up wasting a whole day , and now i moved myself by getting a few people on hour rates form craigslist and getting a Uhaul truck . If you want to waste your day , you have these people .

The moving service arrived later than the appointed time but still within the moving time frame for me. They brought 4 men to move and they were extremely professional and knew exactly how to move large items without damaging them as well as how to pack and move boxes and furniture with the best efficiency. I had several large pieces of furniture such as queen size bed, frame and boxspring which they were able to move through tiny 1940s apartment door. They also knew how to grab and move as many things as they can to reduce time and trip to the 3rd floor of my apartment. I had over 30 medium and large moving boxes from Home Depot as well as numerous smaler boxes. Then, at the apartment I was moving to, someone else was occupying most of the loading dock and the Hong D*** guys did not complain or gripe but instead just parked a little further away and continued their move. They were very accommodating to the situation and overall the entire move took no longer 2 hours. Nothing was damaged. They are extremely fast and know how to move with efficiency. I will certainly use them again for my next move.

Our overall experience is good and we will use them again in the future.
