I called the office manager on Saturday immediately following Hurricane Sandy to schedule a repair/ replacement of cap shingles blown off of my roof during the storm. The office manager was able to schedule the repair for the upcoming Monday as there was some concern related to amother storm coming that might further damage my roof. As I would be work that day, she suggested that I would not need to be at home if I were to leave the shingles outside of the house. I was delighted when I returned home that evening to find that the repair was completed as promised and that the invoice reflected exactly the quote that I was given.

Showed up on time and ready to work. Quickly removed all shingles on roof and inspected plywood. Then installed new. They then cleaned up whole yard, could not find anything anywhere. Gutters were up in a few hours. All look great and look to be very professionally installed. Deck was leveled with 6x6 posts. Even cleaned up sawdust in driveway. Awesome job.

I found them on Angie’s List. They were very good and professional. They were on time. They did what they said they would do. They gave me an estimate. I used the 5% discount coupon from Angie’s List. They did not have any problem giving 5% off of the estimate.

United Exteriors was absolutly one of the easiest and professional companies we've ever worked with. Joshua, the owner, was here when promised to do the estimate. He is a gentleman and very professional. His crew showed-up on time. They were quiet and quick. The work was performed exactly as estimated. Price was actually slightly less than we received from our homeowners policy. Great company!

We had a great experience overall. The owner, Josh, is the consummate professional who puts customer satisfaction above all else. His team did a great job for us. Their craftsmanship was top notch and they did an amazing job cleaning up the property and leaving it spotless. We have a fairly complex roof with a lot of small details but It didn't seem to faze Josh as his bid was the lowest using the same quality materials as the other bids. We had one little mis-communication on the brand/color of the shingle which wasn't noticed until after a few squares were installed. We wanted Certainteed "WeatheredWood", but GAF "WeatheredWood" went up the first time. (strange and unfortunate that 2 different brands have the same shingle name) Josh could have pushed back as his estimate did say GAF, but instead he took full responsibility and ripped off the shingles and started over again without any argument/complaints or demands to be compensated for the misunderstanding. I highly recommend United.

I received 2 quotes to install a Sun Tunnel skylight into a dark interior hallway. United Exteriors' quote was $1,000 less than the quote from another roofing company recommended by Angies List for the exact same product. That was so surprising that I rang United Exteriors to make sure their quote wasn't leaving out any important steps in the installation. Josh assured me the installation was exactly the same as the more expensive option. The team that installed the skylight worked fast and clean and even offered to seal some loose chimney flashing while they were on the roof. Highly recommended!
