Description of Work: We have hired Pest-Tech on an annual contractual basis to control the mice that invade our home in the country. They come quarterly to check on the baits and activity. They have been incredibly professional, efficient and neat and clean. Since hiring PestTech, we hardly see any mouse activity and are extremely satisfied with them. We will continue to use this company and highly recommend them to anyone needing the services of a pest control company.

 + -1 moreOverall I was very pleased. The price for the service was a bit shocking but I had phoned two other exterminators in the area and their estimates were even higher. Both of the guys who came here (the first one assessed the problem and another made the daily visits) were as pleasant and professional as could be, and they got the job done. One thing I didn't like was that the service doesn't include temporarily blocking the access point to keep other critters out while you arrange for repairs. (They did give me an estimate for a whole-house exclusion but it was way too much for me.) In my case this was not an issue, as they went above and beyond for me when I explained that I couldn't afford the exclusion. They pointed out one small hole in the attic floor and told me how to plug it up myself and they tromped through the cold and snow all around the house and located the point where the squirrel had gotten in (a hole in the soffit), which I then had a contractor friend block temporarily and will fix in the spring.
Description of Work: I found a ton of droppings in my attic and thought "raccoon." Called Pestech and they came the next day, knew at a glance that the visitor was actually flying squirrels. They set up four large catch-and-release traps and caught the critter on day 2. Took it far far away, then reset the trap and came back every day for the next few days (a total of one week, not including the weekend, during which the traps were shut) to make sure it was the only one up there.

 + -1 moreI feel that if Pestech cannot exterminate ants on two visits in a tiny, gutted, shell of a house... how could they exterminate ants in an inhabited, average size home? I think Pestech is a waste of time.
Description of Work: I have a very small (400+ square foot) seasonal cabin that I'm renovating and last spring I found a couple clusters of dormant carpenter ants living behind baseboards. I pulled off all the sheetrock in the cabin and in some cases removed 2x4 studs. I called in Pestech to spray. They treated the cabin, inside and out. A couple weeks later, I was removing floor boards, and found more live ants clustered together. I killed them and called Pesttech. They came back (honoring their 30 day guarantee) and treated again. At this point, the house was all but gutted. A few weeks later, I was removing some final 2x4s, and there were more carpenter ants under the wall studs. I called Pestech a third time and asked for a refund this time. They refused.
