Description of Work: This townhouse is a rental property and I try to manage it from Germany. Found Brian on Angie's list and feel fortunate to have contacted such a highly professional contractor. He reorganized his jobs to complete the bathtub and bathroom repairs on an emergency basis. His communication and pictures kept me informed of the task and his progress. I participated in decisions when appropriate via telephone. I highly recommend him and appreciate the opportunity to work with such a skilled and ethical individual. Thank you so much, Brian.

Description of Work: Brian gave us a fair estimate to replace our garage side door and storm door, plus repair two ceiling cracks and paint ceiling of LR, KIT & DR. |His men, namely Jason, Jeremy and Kevin were nothing but professional. They were courteous and neat in their work. At the last minute, we decided we wanted to construct a beam on the ceiling between the Kit and DR where one of the ceiling cracks were visible. Working from a drawing I quickly dotted down, they turned my poor drawing into a finished product that was exactly what we wanted. Brian didn't add any more cost to our bill. We have a few projected to be done in the spring and we now know exactly who to call.

Description of Work: They installed two safety bars in my shower. They had to cut through the drywall on the other sides of the shower to get a solid support for the bars. The drywall was replaced and repaired (except for painting). I had another small problem removing a toilet seat because the bolts had rusted. While they were there, they cut off the bolts for me at no charge. Very professional.

Description of Work: Initial response was prompt and professional. After receiving my estimate, I asked for a couple of changes to the work and was told by Brian that he would get back to me. I never heard from him again!! It would have been nice to know that he was not going to do the work so I could have moved on to another company in a more timely fashion rather than waiting to hear back from him.

Description of Work: I wrote a review yesterday and gave this contractor and very bad score but am writing today to correct my mistake. I thought that he never responded with an estimate. I was wrong…I just missed the very punctual estimate on my computer. After receiving the poor grade that was a result of MY mistake, he called to tell me that he had just sent a duplicate of the email he had sent way back in June to prove that he had sent it in a very timely manner. I was very surprised that I had missed it on my computer, but indeed I had and feel so badly for slamming him on the internet when he in fact had been very punctual. Today when he called, he was very polite even after the terrible review I had given him which speaks volumes of his professionalism as i wouldn't have been so nice to me. I apologize profusely to Brian for the damage I may have caused and hope you all take the chance to read this review. His price was also more than fair. I will not be so quick to react on a social media forum the next time without making sure I was correct in my assumptions. So sorry Brian.

Description of Work: I used them to clean and stain my deck. He did a great job and it lasted for many years. We have since built a sunroom over the deck so I haven't used him in a while

Description of Work: They cleaned, repaired and stained our deck. They did an excellent job, in a prompt, professional manner. They were careful around the house and lawn. We have used them several times in the last 10 years for various cleaning projects around the house.

Description of Work: electrical and plumbing work. It went well. The owner had recently experienced a fire in his home, the whole thing burned to the ground so they were operating out of a hotel room in emergency situations, and while there were minor delays in his responding, under the circumstances he was attentive and professional, despite being under stress. Says a lot about him and his desire to please his customers.

Description of Work: Brian returned my call shortly after I placed it on a Friday. His helper, Doug, came the following Monday and quickly had my gutters cleaned. One thing I wish I'd thought to ask was that one gutter had overflowed before Affordable Solutions arrived. I should have asked Doug to wipe down the outside while he was here. Oh, well. The rain will do it eventually. Thank you for the recommendation.

Description of Work: Updated bathroom- new tile floor, fixtures, replaced vanity and top,installed toilet, painted. The entire project was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Brian and his crew are very knowledgeable and in my opinion are second to none!
