Dear member we called you twice and you never answered or called back. We need to be the ones rating clients. As of recent you as many others who have called and either schedule and then not be there as they forget and don’t keep track of appointments as they are enjoying this pandemic vacation or they call and get side tracked and don’t respond. Either way it is a disgrace you all can give us bad reviews when we do are part. I will not allow any one in our company to harass or continually call someone as I don’t want a salesman doing it to me. If you seriously wanted work done it’s up to you to return our call once we’ve called you. Thank you and hope you have better luck in future

Thank you very much for the review. Though I’m not sure what or how I could of met your expectations punctually. From the day I looked at your job which I took time out on a Sunday to finishing it on the following Friday was 12 days. In that time frame I put together your estimate and you had to approve. Then its been raining almost everyday and part of your job is painting outside. I’m sorry if I did not get it done faster but i have no control of weather and you did wait til you were running out of time with the code enforcer. I squeezed you in, everyone else is 2-3 months out. Anyways i hope you and everyone that reads this realizes that they should not wait until the last minute to get things done and then be upset if us contractors cant oblige your time schedule.

thank you for the A rating though it seams a little vague to the Angies list customers reading this. As I would scratch my head and say why an A and yet not hire again. So you should tell them my prices were either higher than another or you put the job on hold or something. I believe I priced it higher than others as you called me again 2 months later to give you an estimate forgetting I was there already. Thanks anyways and if you want you can always call and get an estimate free of charge

I am a little confused as I was the one that was there and no one was up to meet me to unlock the door and when you wanted me to look at second job and asked weeks in advance I told you yes but I needed an exact date as I had work scheduled and yet you expected me to come by with one days notice. I'm sorry I do understand you are from out of town but I cant just expect customers to appreciate me cancelling there appointments because you didn't schedule in advance. Description of Work: Replaced insulation in downstairs crawl space; had to do other repairs not in quote once old insulation was taken down. patched cement in my garage and rebuilt fence between me and my neighbor. They did an excellent job and I think overall the price was fair. Brian even installed a light in the crawl space which was a wonderful surprise. I have other projects I will be having Brian do.

Description of Work: He came to the house at a convenient time for us - and we had to reschedule at the last minute - he was very accommodating. We had a water pressure issue - he had it fixed in 30 minutes or less - was $200 - but money well spent. Didn't try to sell us anything or tell us our pump was bad - or our holding tank was bad. Just fixed the simple issue! Thankful for that.

Description of Work: Brian did some landscaping in front of my house and fixed some lighting. He evened up the ground between by sidewalk and house then laid down some mesh then stone. He also fixed the ground lighting along the sidewalk in front of the house. Everything looks good. Brian was punctual and everything went well.

Description of Work: Brian came out and did a great job understanding what I wanted done and sent an estimate within a few days by email. I answered him by email and never heard back. I called a couple weeks later and left a message. About a week after that he called me, said he'd been having email difficulties, and we arranged that I would re-send the signed contract. I sent it, called to say I'd sent it, and called again to ask if they'd gotten it and have never heard back. Maybe just so busy they can't keep up?

Brian responded to my call immediately. He came over and assessed the projects at hand, and followed up quickly with a quote. As soon as I hired him, he kept me posted on a regular basis with the schedule of events. Brian works quickly and is considerate of the homeowner's time and space. He was very neat, and he is a perfectionist. Brian is very trustworthy and professional and I have recommended him to several friends.
Description of Work: Brian fixed my garage door opener: he inspected motor, found the problem, ordered the part, replaced part and solved problem. He patched, primed and painted my water-damaged kitchen ceiling. He recaulked bathtub and areas in kitchen, supplied and installed new stopper in master bathroom sink.

Went well. Brian was polite and professional. He installed the garage door opener and also found another problem with the door that needed to be addressed before the new door opener could be used. I had a broken spring which assists in lifting the door , which was the cause of the demise of the old door opener. He did not accept any payment until the spring was replaced by a garage door company so that I could test the door opener first. I would definitely use him again.

I am in the midst of preparing my parent's home for resale and had several miscellaneous jobs needing attention. Brian was very responsive and helpful. He met me the next day and was able to accommodate my tight timeframe requests. Both he and his crew were able to fix a variety of things for me and were very polite and professional. I was very happy with the results and will use them in the future for my own home's handyman needs.
Description of Work: Electrical upgrade work, dry wall patching, basement cinderblock scraping and painting, clearing of garage rafters, dumpster service, furniture moving, and door hinge repairs.

I had a great experience with Affordable Solutions by Brian from start to finish. The owner, Brian, is a very friendly, honest guy. He listened and understood exactly what I wanted. The estimate was very reasonable. The work began when he said it would. Most of the work was done by two of Brian's employees. They were both trustworthy, great guys that did a nice job. I felt perfectly comfortable with them in my house while I was not there. The job took about a week to complete. Everything was done very well. The room looks great! I am very satisfied and will definitely be using this company again in the future.
Description of Work: Remodeled a second floor bedroom in a cape cod style house. Job included: framing, electrical (wiring, added switches, replaced outlets), insulating, sheetrock and trim.

They did general handyman work. They were excellent. They were very business like. They were clean, polite and professional. We spent about $1700. It was the only estimate we had in the end. However the price did not seem unreasonable. We will use this service again in the future.
