We've gone through many lawn irrigation companies and MJL is by far the best. Opening and closing our system always goes smoothly and is done very quickly. They also added a zone, moved a few heads and installed a new clock this season for us. Finally our sprinkler system is working the way we envisioned. It doesn't get our patio or pergola wet anymore (something the 3 previous companies we hired were never able to do). We have full and even coverage on our lawn and in our gardens. I would recommend MJL to anyone looking for a lawn irrigation company.

Called early in the morning and mark called back shortly thereafter. He told me he could do the services today and that he would call me prior to coming to the house. Both he and Joe were courteous and very knowledgable about what had to be fixed and/or replaced. Very nice guys and can't wait to see them in the spring.

Called on 9/5 looking for next day service but they were booked until next Monday. When I mentioned we were pretty desperate to get the cut line (it's my neighbors line that for some reason runs under my new driveway) repaired they came in less than 24 hours. Two man crew who knew exactly what needed to be done with little-to-no input from me showed up on time (with a call 45min before to confirm. For the line repair they offered 2 options and priced them both out. For the other job, which was to steal some pressure from zone 4 to feed a new head in zone 1 (and cap off one of the existing heads in zone 1 to create more pressure there), again, priced it and began to work. Both jobs done in a couple hours. Professional start to finish. Would use again, would recommend.

After a mishap of me providing the wrong number, Mark responded quickly once I realized my error. He came by when promised to give me an estimate and appeared very knowledgable. I ended up hiring him and a week later, they came to complete the job. They were punctual and polite. I am glad I reached out to them to do this job and will recommend them to any friends or family that need sprinkler work done.

Mark and his crew where very punctual, professional and estimated a fair price. Work was performed neatly and they went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend them .

I purchased a big deal with MJL Enterprises, and called MJL for an appointment. I received a call back from the owner Mark in a timely manner. He was able to schedule an appointment that fit into my schedule, which I thought was very accommodating. He arrived at my home with two other guys. They were punctual and professional. Mark explained what needed to be done, and there were no surprise charges. I actually thought that the price was reasonable considering the amount of time it took to relocate the controller, and to do other things that needed to be done. I am happy that I decided to take the chance with Angie's List because now I have a company that I absolutely trust with my sprinkler. I would recommend MJL Enterprises to family and friends.

Mark and his team are very professional, honest and easy to work with. The work went very well. Although there were some issues during the renovation, they were very well explained and then taken care of. This is probably the best experience I have ever had in terms of renovating a home. I would definitely recommend Mark and his team to friends and family members.

Good. They came and winterized the sprinkler system when we were not home. They left behind their tool box in the front yard. We thought that they would come in later to perform the backflow test as the Big Deal ad stated. When no one came that evening I called Mr. Lehr who stated that someone had made a mistake and left behind the toolbox. When inquired about the backflow test he informed me that it was not needed in my county but required in the neighboring county. Then he asked if he could come and pick up the toolbox right away since he needed it. I agreed even though it was late at night (around 10 pm). When he came to pick up the toolbox I asked him to at least take a look at the sprinkler system. He looked at it and again repeated that no backflow test was required in my county and it looked good. While it may not be required, I felt that MJL Enterprises should have performed the test since that is what the Big Deal ad stated. It was like getting only half of the Big Deal. Other than that I think everything else was fine.

Everything went well except for the difficulty in contacting him.

It was a great experience. Joe was very professional and courteous. The sprinkler system was inspected and the faulty sprinklers detected and heads/nozzles replaced. I strongly recommend MJL Enterprises.

This is my second attempt to leave a review for MJL Contracting. My first was written soon after the job was done. After awhile I wondered why it was not posted. Being new at this I thought this was SOP. Finally before I called Angie up I researched the site and found "my account" and to my surprise not only my review was not posted but considered incomplete and only 1 sentence out of a long paragraph was viewable. Let me begin by saying the whole experience went very well from estimate to completion. I found Mark (the owner) to be knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. The whole job went smooth with no "extra costs" issues. His crew were very professional and polite. I called a number of companies for an estimate (before I joined angies list) and was surprised to find how few responded to my calls (most had answering machines) and most that did call back for an appointment never showed up. Marks estimate was not the lowest but within what I thought the job should cost. I could not find any information on the other companies at all good or bad. The deciding factors in choosing MLJ was Mark himself and the high praise on angies list and not wanting to "go cheap" and have problems later on. I highly recommend MLJ for anyone wanting to get lawn sprinklers professionally installed with high quality parts and if fact my neighbor is getting his lawn done and another is thinking about it. In closing I hope this review gets posted. I sure as h*** don't want to do this again. (I can't type) ****note I called Mark and left him a voice mail about a over spray problem. He called back within the hour and I told him it was a minor inconvenience and any time in the next 3 days would be okay. Joe showed up to fix the problem 5 hours later.

I received names from friends and from ads and checked out several companies on Angie's List and got 3 estimates for the installation of a lawn irrigation system. All three gentlemen were nice and polite and answered my questions and told me what to look for in a sprinker system. I choose Mark from M.J.L. ENTERPRISES because of several factors: the way he answered all my questions and concerns, his reputation, the fact that he is licensed and insured and the quality of the products that he uses. I checked all three companies on Angie's List and everyone gave Mark and M.J.L ENTERPRISES a good review. Mark returned my calls in a timely manner. We set up an installation date and Mark and his team arrived on time and got right to work. Mark was present and working on the job himself all day, with his crew. They encountered several unforseen problems (large roots), but they handled everything in a very professional manner. After the installation was complete, Mark took the time to explain the control panel and made sure everything was working and that the coverage was correct. I am so happy to finally be able to stop moving hoses all over the yard and yet never having everything completely watered. The irrigation system is working perfectly and the lawn looks like there had never been any work done. I would gladly recommend M.J.L. Enterprises (631-581-8362) to anyone who is looking for a lawn irrigation system.

Mark was very prompt and professional. He replaced the sprinkler timer with a new and better quality timer.

They were outstanding. They were prompt, and I feel that they were very knowledgable. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Overall, the experience was a positive one. I signed up for the company's special advertised on Angie's List. I received a prompt call from the owner to schedule an appointment. He was courteous and professional, and he answered all the questions I had. Following the backflow test, I received a call from our local water dept. asking for more information about our system. Mark was forthcoming in helping me to address the issues that the town found with our water lines, and pointed me in the right direction. I plan to use them again for next year's winterization.

I signed up for their winterizing and backflow testing package. They showed up on time and did their business, quick and painless. I will probably use them again next season...

They were very good. It was pretty easy to schedule them and it was a pretty easy job.
