+ -1 moreThe windows Tri-Pane installed are high quality. I have had other replacement windows installed in the past by a different company, but those were not as good as Tri-Pane windows and the quality of Tri-Pane's installation was better. The windows fit perfectly.
Description of Work: They installed two new replacement windows in my home, a large window in the kitchen and a regular size window in a bedroom.

+ -1 moreI have mixed feelings about the work. Two individuals came out to do the work. They cleaned up well, but there were a couple of issues. When they brought the windows, they weren’t sized correctly to the frame. They broke one and that’s when I found out it was made out of plexiglass, in other words it wasn’t the window I ordered. They had to come back out to install the correct window. It took quite a while to have them all installed. I remember the cost being under $1,000.
Description of Work: They installed a couple of windows in the basement. It was a hard space to fill in because an air conditioning unit was blocking the area.

+ 0 moreThey knew what they were talking about, but I was concerned with the quality of the product because I am not familiar with that product. I have casement windows and they said their product was the only one with two sealed tanned and blinds between them. I have since found another product with that, an Anderson product. There was nothing wrong with the company. I just didn’t have confidence in the product and I wasn’t prepared to put down about $3,000. They were quite responsive to my inquiry though.
Description of Work: They gave me an estimate for replacing and installing a 5 foot slider and repair a bow window.

+ -1 moreOne representative came out and the estimate was thorough. I felt the price was a bit high for windows. They have triple pane glass which is more expensive and we just didn’t need that. If we ever need a window with a high insulation value I would consider going to them.

+ -1 moreIt worked out well. Everything went smoothly. I think they were pretty helpful. No problems with the installation. No cracks or issues since the installation. We’re satisfied with the insulation. Responsiveness was pretty solid I believe.

+ -1 moreOverall, Tripane was great with consultation and followup. I didn't appreciate getting phone calls from 10 different phone numbers. I felt like I was getting tricked into taking more calls when I had stated that we weren't going to go with them. In all seriousness, for the price offered (less than 10k for 17 good quality windows), it would have been a great deal, I felt like the quality of work and guarantees would have been great, but the style of window wasn't what we were looking for.
Description of Work: We had an initial consultation with Allen for windows for our tudor home. While his presentation was great, we weren't thrilled with the quality of windows. We had a great vintage home and wanted to keep true to the style. He showed us fine vinyl windows, but when we expressed interest, in perhaps a higher quality window, he continued to try and convince us about these windows. We knew these windows didn't match out home. We asked him back for a 2nd consultation, but in the end, he continued to push the same window from the initial visit. For your standard colonial, ranch, american home, his windows were GREAT, and a REALLY GOOD price. But, we were looking to make an investment in the style and quality of our home. We went with another company and we really happy with their product. I would definitely consider Allen for other projects around our home. He was always very professional and EXTREMELY informative.

+ -1 moreAllen Messing came to our house and spent over 2 hours with us explaining the ins and outs of windows. Mr. Messing is very honest and extremely knowledgeable in his craft but at the same time is not a high pressure salesman. He answered any and all questions that we had and even provided follow up calls within 48 hours. We researched many different companies and windows and felt that Tri-Pane was very competitive with their prices, had a great reputation with high ratings and was honest in their business dealings. In the end, Tri-Pane did not perform the work but we still hold them in high regard. Thank you.

+ -1 moreMy experience was positive. The sales associated was helpful and took a lot of time to explain the process and the products. I live in a condo so had specific specifications and they were able to meet them. It only took a few weeks to receive the windows and installation was quick.
Description of Work: Four bedroom windows needed to be replaced. They did not close properly and leaked. The installation technicans arrived on time and installed all four windows in a timely manner.
