The sales rep knew what he was talking about which gave me confidence. The workers who actually did the job were professional, wore masks in the house, layed down plastic drop cloths so as not to make a mess and blew in over 12" of cellulose insulation throughout the floor of the attic. I was extremely pleased with the job. My attic is about 800 sq ft and it took them about 3 hours from start to finish. I highly recommend JC Home Care.

The project has not started yet but they have been very efficient at answering our questions and scheduling the project date. Based on other reviews they are a good company which helped to drive our decision to use them. Also, they were cost friendly.

I reached out to a few companies for blown-in cellulose insulation. JC was one of the companies that got back to me and were able to have a salesperson come by within the next week. Great! The salesperson showed up and was really nice to work with (I forgot his name). He spent about 1 1/2 hours at my house investigating what we needed to be done and going over how it all worked with me. He prepared a quote right there and we agreed upon a number. Nice and simple transaction. I was happy with my decision when he left. The installation crew came a few weeks later and showed up an hour early, great! They got right to work wasting no time at all. I went over the project again with them which is when one issue rose. We have stucco on the building and they were not prepared for that. They wanted to do it from inside but I explained I had gone over this with the sales guy. They were not aware of that but did not give me any issues after that and DID in fact blow the insulation in from outside. They did not drill the stucco but instead used a hammer to knock a hole in it, followed by a quick past with a hole saw. OKAY. I am fine with that. It is stucco after all so it is a mixture of wire mesh and mortar. Inside they were supposed to cover up a hole in the ceiling temporarily when they were done since we planned to make a hatch later, but there was no temporary cover. They just put a piece of insulation in the hole (I had to put plastic over it and tape the plastic to keep debris from falling down). They did not tarp over everything and we had dust throughout our kitchen/living room. They seemed to only tarp the section they were immediately working on. We had dust all over the furniture and spackle on the kitchen island and floors as well (from when they were filling in their holes) Outside cleanup was even worse. They did clean up 1 area in our driveway but the rest of the house/deck was a complete mess. Stucco, wire, and insulation were all over my deck and surrounding the house. They did not tarp anything outside before going to work, just left everything in the grass. The main issue is the holes. They did not bother patching any holes. They just put the siding back on the house leaving the holes in the stucco. That is a big problem. I contacted the company and Laura (who is an owner I believe) stated Underneath the siding, the holes are left open purposely to protect the home from any moisture or mold issues so we NEVER close those holes up. I reached out to numerous companies and they all stated that they ALWAYS cover the holes up. I mean, why would you NOT cover the hole up. It is an exterior wall, you NEVER want to leave a hole open to the outside. So now we have all these holes behind our siding exposed to the air (siding is not a vapor barrier!). This is going to allow moisture into the cavities which are going to cause problems later on. I tried emailing the company from their website, but they claimed they never got the email. I did leave a voicemail and Laura did call back a few hours later. She left a voicemail with the correct email. 24 hours go by, I call again to follow up with my re-submission of my email, goes to voicemail. I leave a voicemail and Laura emails me back shortly thereafter (with what I wrote above). I responded and then called her back (around 4 pm). Never got an email back or call back. We will see if the company actually resolves my issue, at which time I may revise my review. But as of now, I am not a happy customer. Crew leaving a mess is one thing, but not taking the time to fill the holes tells me they wanted to get in and out very quickly. For 3-4 hours of work they made a lot of money I can tell you that. No reason not to cover the holes unless it was to save even more time and money. They were well aware we had stucco when we signed on (I even showed the rep photos.

Greg, the salesman was very friendly and so was the insulation crew. I got my attic, entire second floor, 3 ceilings, and 2 extra walls done and aside from all of the holes in my walls, I cannot even tell anything was done. No difference in warmth on my second floor. I was also told that the blown-in insulation would help a little with airborne sounds (voices) so based on that I did the 3 ceilings and 2 extra walls however it made ZERO improvements. Money straight out of the window. To top it off, what drove me to make this post was that the technicians knocked my son PS5 off his dresser onto the floor after blown-in cellulose got inside of it and of course, it broke. I called the office and the lady dared to say; PlayStations break and did nothing to rectify the situation saying she would call back (That was 1-2 weeks ago) and of course no callback. Overall I feel like I just threw thousands of dollars out the window and still have my hands full trying to fix these walls and replace the PS5

booked them in december 2021 and they did the job in early january 2022. I was replacing the old pink insulation with the blown in cellulose. I could not believe they could remove the old batting and finish the job in a few hours. 2 men did it in a little over 2 hours. A 3rd man came as they were finishing and vacuumed up all the loose stuff. They bagged all the old insulation in 20 bags and brought them to the side of the house. Sanitation just took the last of the bags, I know the insulation is working because the upstairs does not have that chill in the air in the middle of the night when my thermostat is at 66 and the temp upstairs is 73. Thank you JC Home Care.

Their salesman underbid on the blown-in attic insulation and made up for it by charging a high price for the attic fans. The workers were very competent and friendly. The whole matter was settled amicably.
