Replaced freon without checking for leaks so freon leaked again. Freon is not under warranty so they would not refund money.

They are the company that installed the system 13 years ago and have been servicing it ever since. Their techs are professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and punctual.

It went well. There was a minor issue afterwards, and they promptly showed up to fix it.

the first time he came and repaired my AC which was good, but then it broke down again. Also, when he came back to install an AC downstairs for my daughter he never gave us instructions on how to use it or my paper to get my rebate check. I reached out to him to get that information and never heard from him again. My daughter even wrote to him! Stll nothing.

Do not use these guys. Here was my experience: I called because the A/C UPSTAIRS (one of two zones) in my home was not working. The tech comes, opens the condenser and tells me that there was a part that was overheating, and it required a booster for $400. He temporarily got the unit working again and advised that the it may or may not go out again, and if it does it would need the booster. Fast forward 5 days, the unit failed and I called to have the booster installed. Here's where it gets interesting. 2 days later, UPSTAIRS not working again, so I call for the tech to come back. Its was the UPSTAIRS of my home that was not cooling and he tells me that the unit he worked on 5 days ago, and the one in which he installed the booster was the DOWNSTAIRS condenser. Ok, so so far, over 2 visits, he had not identify the problem upstairs AND added a $400 part for a functioning unit downstairs. So now, mid-way through his 3rd visit, he realizes that he's done nothing to address the problem with upstairs system, but has in fact, added a $400 part that we did not authorize for the downstairs unit. So he finally does some work on the handler for the upstairs system and gets it going again.. for a day. Finally, I called another company. They replaced a part in the correct condensor, and voila.. it works! Here's the funny part: I am having the siding done on my house, so after 3 visits of incompetence, he BLAMES THE SIDING GUYS FOR STRIPPING SOME INSULATION! Yes, they tried to blame the siding guy. I confronted the siding guys about this, ad he found it as laughable as I do. Now, I've dealt with bad contractors before, but the most disappointing part of this company was the owner himself. I confronted him with my concerns, and instead of dealing with the problem, he had the following to say: "I got a discount on the part that I did not deserve" ; "I should look in the penny saver to find a company ..you'd probably do better there "; "I should find another siding guy b/c this one doesn't know what he's doing" And on and on.. just as unprofessional as can be. He was right about one thing.. I should have looked in the penny saver, because just about any other company would have done a better job. To be fair, he did refund the money for the part that they put in unnecessarily . Otherwise, it would be a F on all fronts

Came on time. Gave great advice.

Recommended we consider changing our 20 year old furnace , but did not push. We followed up on this, but that is a separate review/

They did a very good job. I have used them more than once.

We have known them for 20 years they did an excellent job as usual. They have been servicing me on and off because I sold the house so we had to double check everything. Any little shortcomings they gave us the projections, we agreed so it is all working fine. They do an outstanding job. I continue to use them because I am satisfied and happy. It cost $8,900 to change the compressor.

It went very well. It was a fairly new system so they didn't need to clean any ducts.

It was good. I had no complaints about it. He is young and a very courteous gentleman.

I am rating them for their professionalism and for being unresponsive only: The president came out to our home to give us an estimate for adding on Central Air to our existing unit. He sat there and gave us a sales pitch for over 2 hours. He said he would get back to us in a week. I called the following week and we never got a return call. I then tried emailing to get a response, and no one ever wrote back. *approximate cost $10000.00

Since I dealt with an oil technician for years who no longer is working I felt for what he did his price was a little bit up there. I paid the same and had parts replaced and all. I was desperate and looked this company up at Angie's List however the service was good and the serviceman was respectably and knew what to do once he arrived. And my boiler has been running fine since January, nice and smooth.

It went well in all cases. They are knowledgable, creative in finding ways to add ductwork to old houses, responsive to calls for repair and I think their prices are fair.

All of my interactions with this company have been excellent. The dispatcher/scheduler and the technician were both very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The technician was very helpful. He answered all my questions and showed me everything I wanted to know about the oil burner and heating system and how it works. I marked B for the price because it was $255.27 for the entire visit. This seems a little expensive compared to other companies, but keep in mind this also included a full evaluation of the system and recommendations for improvements, as we just bought the house and were having problems with the heat. He bled the air out of the system, showed me the oil burner had not been serviced every year as the previous owner told us, and got everything tuned up. Since his visit the heat is working properly again. Any problems we have remaining are simply because of problems with how the system was originally installed. The technician has gotten the system operating properly again and at some point we will probably follow his recommendations on how to make it even more efficient. I feel the service fee was well worth what we received, I just have no basis for comparison with other providers and if they might provide the same service for less money. In any case, I plan to use Homan & Homan in the future as I appreciate the high quality of service they provided.
